ntzm,

Just put the feature in the title ffs

ntzm,

Yes for Lemmy and Mastodon. YouTube has too much good content to skip, I feel like sites that can only rely on advertising to be profitable such as video hosting and search are going to be the hardest things to make fair.

ntzm,

man 5 sway look for bindsym

ntzm,

Magic earth is the best, not open source though

ntzm,

OSMAnd, Organic Maps, Magic Earth (my favourite but not open source)

ntzm,

Wrong, it’s easier and safer to overtake two cyclists abreast because you don’t have to be in the oncoming lane for as long

ntzm,

How do I make this atrocity all about me, a westerner

ntzm,

Those first type of feminists do not exist, it’s a strawman

ntzm,

They are selectively bred to overproduce eggs which shortens their lifespan significantly. Also they cannot consent to you taking their eggs away, in the same way it is wrong to steal from someone else.

ntzm,

I’ve honestly had 0 issues with Wayland for the past few years of use. Multiple computers including one with an Nvidia graphics card

ntzm,

Communism is when people are mean to me

ntzm,

Brit bad teeth updoots to the left

ntzm,

But other things are controlled with dotfiles

ntzm,

Wouldn’t that mean you just have shit tons of commits? What about the commit message?

ntzm,

I meant whatever works for you, but if a coworker did that I would be fuming

ntzm,

A fjord?? Or a ford?

ntzm,

Go ahead and drive a Tesla through a fjord and tell me how that goes buddy

Just wanted a warning, Lemmy.World is perhaps worse than reddit at respecting their users (web.archive.org)

I just suddenly found my user over there banned. Not for getting in a fight or breaking any rules, but just for criticizing and asking questions regarding its recent vague Terms of Service. In fact, no reason, warning, or reply was given beforehand, and the admin who did it suddenly scaled to banned, with no reply or anything...

ntzm,

Wut, what does lemmy.world have to do with the developers of Lemmy?

ntzm,

I love helix, I just wish the development was a bit faster. The main developers are all quite busy and I would love nothing more for them to be able to use some of the open collective money to pay themselves to work on it full time for a bit. I think in a year or two it will be amazing.

ntzm,

I really like Helix! When the plugin system comes it will be great, because it’s definitely missing some key features

ntzm,

Who is upvoting this. Gangstalking isn’t real, and people that believe they are being gangstalked need professional medical help.

ntzm,

More people are happy to walk than bike, and getting hit by a bike is worse than getting walked into by another person

ntzm,

Erm how am I meant to take my grandma to hospital and also drop off three fridges and my kids to school and then an entire building’s worth of bricks? Therefore cargo bikes will never work in any situation. I am very smart.

ntzm,

In Nottingham, UK they made it so companies have to pay for every parking space per year over a certain amount, and that money gets invested in public transport. Over time congestion has grown much slower in Nottingham than similar cities, I’m amazed that more cities don’t do the same.

ntzm,

There’s a fork called Warfork that has an active player base on Steam

ntzm,

Hello James it’s Dorothy I hope you and the kids are well. How do I stop seeing this on my lemmings feed. Order corn

ntzm,

The thing is you pay a tourist tax if you stay in the city itself already.

ntzm,

Lmao what are these comments, are lemmers thicker than redditors?

ntzm,

20mph is significantly safer than 30mph, that’s all there is to it

ntzm,

Funny how the cars in the UK are geared differently than the ones in the rest of Europe, who seem to have no problem driving at ~20mph

ntzm,

Great news, people don’t realise how much safer 20mph is than 30mph.

ntzm,

Ok then drive slower it’s a speed limit not a speed target

ntzm,

I agree, it’s a trade off. That’s why reducing car usage is the most important thing. Making it less convenient to use a car, and more pleasant to walk and cycle are some of the ways you can do that.

ntzm,

Both are needed

ntzm,

Imagine believing the organ harvesting story

ntzm,

China bad updoots to the left

ntzm,

No, I’ve done it before. It’s awful being dependent on a car to go anywhere, there’s less to do.

ntzm,

n=notify-send Done

Useful for long-running processes

ntzm,

I wasn’t aware of this, thank you for posting
