I want to make my own website, like a blog where I talk about tech and tutorials and such. Something like kerkour.com and lukesmith.xyz. Any ideas for simple but modern design?
Personally, I love Bludit as it is really simple, flat-file and perfect for blogging.
However, you could also look into WriteFreely if you want something with ActivityPub (= Fediverse). Feature wise very very plain and simple, but might noch give you most of the bells and whistles as other platforms would do it. Think of it as an alternative to “Medium”.

Welches Omega nimmst du denn? Vonanchrn Herstellern ist das schon etwas “ranzig”, was evtl. auch die Geruchsproblematik ergeben könnte.
Ansonsten mal einen anderen Hersteller probieren, wenn du auf drin aktuelles Omega immer aufstoßen musst. Vielleicht verträgst du ein anderes ja besser. (Bekannte haben mit dem von Watson gute Erfahrungen gemacht.)
Ansonsten, nimmst du das als Öl (direkt) oder in Kapsel Form ein? Mit Kapsel kann das auch ein bisschen besser sein. Und das Omega auch nie auf " leeren Magen" nehmen sondern mit einer Mahlzeit. Verteilt sich auch besser und die Aufnahme ist auch besser.
PS: Du könntest auch versuchen mehr ALA zu dir zu nehmen und etwas weniger vom Algenöl. Also z.B. Leinsamen(Öl) und deinen Körper zur Eigensynthese von DHA/EPA veranlassen. Aber Vorsicht: Es gibt einige Geringkonvertierer in der Bevölkerung die ALA nicht ausreichen umsetzten können. DHA/EPA direkt ein zunehmen ist auf jeden Fall sicherer.
Problem hierbei, das da eigentlich nur ALA drin ist. Der Körper braucht aber auch DHA/EPA und müsste das aus der ALA Fettsäure konvertieren. Dass geht nur in begrenztem Maße und reicht bei vielen Personen leider nicht zur Deckung mit DHA/EPA aus.

But as a short PSA: If you really have high cholesterol, this dish might not be the optimal as the vegan butter and sour cream are high in fat - especially saturated fats. This might bring your cholesterol levels up.
If you really need to keep an eye on your cholesterol levels, try not to overdo it with fats in your diet and minimize saturated fats - which are often found in “solid fats” like coconut or palm oil (or any fat derived from an animal source).
You could adapt the recipe quite easily by using a small amount of olive oil to saute the onions & mushrooms. Or you could even go zero-fat by “water sautéing” your ingredients.
The sour cream can be swapped with a “cashew-soymilk-sauce” quite easily. Still has some fat but more on the healty side. And cashews bring a lot of other health nutrients - in contrast to the sour creams.
I mean, butter from animal products would be even worse than the vegan version - but that doesn’t make the vegan version healthy in any way.
However, I would always default to vegan alternatives, as living and feeling animals are not exploited in the process of making them. And when I can make dishes vegan and more nutrient dense and tasty by using whole food ingredients, it’s a win-win for me. 😇
Olive oil can give a little bit of a bitter taste. However, if you don’t use a lot of it, it shouldn’t be a problem and would generally be the better choice over the butter.
Is it one that you just use and works just fine? Or one that has proven to be reliable and responsible if they do a mistake and only want to satisfy you as a customer?
This would incentivise instances to keep growing, as more users would potentially mean more income. I don’t think that this is a good idea as it conflicts the decentralized nature of the fediverse.
I would suggest that we promote donations more. Seriously, nobody is talking about that stuff.
Furthermore, “money” doesn’t always fix a communities infrastructure issues - people do. Most of the time, admins are a one-person-army. If people would take over work (like moderation, implementing helpful features in code, …) more often, that might help out the admins more than just throwing money at them.
It is the same as with a lot of open source communities: It’s not all about the money, it’s about people getting active and involved and helping each other out.

Definitely NOT writefreely. It is a nice tool, if you want to have a minimalistic blog others on the fediverse can follow, but it is extremly bad at interacting with literally anything, yet. (This might change in the future, but at the moment, WF is not really made for your use case.)

Naja, die Infrastruktur und die Voraussetzungen bei vielen sind ja immer noch unverändert. Warum sollte sich da auch so schnell was ändern? Und wenn da nicht ordentlich investiert wird um diesen status quo zu ändern wird “von alleine” auch nicht so viel passieren.
