Having tried both, Mastodon feels more relaxed, more polished, easy to navigate, following hashtags, & pickup where you left off… Bluesky is in its infancy, & will probably get better… Have a couple of invite codes if anyone wants to check it out…

Is it supposed to scroll to the top of thr feed, scroll up a fixed amount of posts or something else entirely¿? Everytime I use it, it seems the feed scrolls up by a different amount
I’m guessing you’re referring to the Jump button that appears when viewing a posts comments, seems to jump down through the comments with each tap, whilst a longer press will jump back up through them…
Ohhh I see what you mean now, the posts button opens side menu, or can jump back up through a scrolled feed, and then opens the side menu once the top of the feed is reached. At least that’s how its been working and pretty consistent

Not quite sure how this is an app issue, as you curate your own feed based on your subscriptions, unless of course your viewing local or all, which then are more instance dependant. Also the way you sort the posts, affects your feed…Have you set a default sort in the settings? or played around with changing the sort options?..

You could add these communities to your favorites, then unsubscribe from them, they will remain in your favorites, whilst not being displayed in your subscribed feed…

I grew up with Cheese on Toast, or ham & cheese toasties, but never in the way you’ve described, so will certainly give it a go… French toast or eggy fried bread would be a good base to add some cheese, ham or other filling & turn into a sandwich…🤔
