Except E.Wedel is owned by Korean chaebol Lotte. Which is… I don’t even know honestly, I just know chaebols do a lot of fucked up shit. I guess my point is there is no ethical consumption under capitalism
Unity was too greedy at once. It tried to make devs pay retroactively. Unreal just needs to not do that and can still be greedy. Who’s to say they won’t do incremental pay increases over a few years to make devs more accustomed to price increases?
Honestly yeah, I like having my CDs in their cases on the shelf so if I want to listen to a specific CD I can take it out and play it in a CD player. Sure I have so much music at my fingertips thanks to streaming, but there’s something really personal about taking a disk to listen to it. I guess I understand now what people used to say about vinyls back in the day
Yup, go to coffee guy who shows you how to catch Pokémon, fly to Cinnabar Island and go straight right, surf and swim up and down without leaving the shore, enjoy scrambled encounter data
AntennaPod on Android. I use Pocket Casts but only because I’m on iOS, once I switch back to Android I’m going back to AntennaPod, it’s open source and imo easier to customise than any other podcast app and I went through a lot of them trying to find the one that doesn’t try to force it’s terrible ux on you
Fuuuck you just made me remember the first time I encountered Wikipedia. It was a recommendation from a teacher in my first class of middle school to read some articles about the topic before writing an assignment. It was a literary life changing moment for me. All this knowledge… for free?

Just Dance on Switch moved to this with 2023 edition. I honestly love having access to all the versions I bought as DLC rather than launching different versions depending on what songs I want
This is me as well. I grew up when PCs were just a beige box, utterly boring and uninspiring. The cool thing happened on the screen! My GPU has some LEDs and stuff but I only got it because it was cheaper than one without, and I still have a case without a window so whatever
TBF those had to grow on me, especially the first ones. They were actually challenging, due to changes in how exp gain is scaled. Plethora of activities after the game ends is something that got me hooked for a long time in Black 2, which overall I think I enjoyed a lot more than 1
I can see it, but only when I look at it real hard, if I just take a glance it’s 71 for me. The different shade that part of the 4 is made of really throws me off for some reason
Lmao I still remember the first time I installed Arch… without any networking 🤦♂️ I couldn’t even sit next to the modem on a cable connection because I literally had nothing that could talk to it.
Thought it would be easy since I used other distros for about a year, but none was the right one for me. Years later I’m super happy with Fedora.
I’ve played gw2 since it released, and there’s very little that excites me about the game anymore. Feels like a constant grind for gear if you don’t have legendary equipment (I don’t) and if there is something I hate, it’s gear grind. I finished the story, said my goodbyes to Aurene, and I guess I’m ready to never log in again.
