I've played this game for 105 hours on my first playthrough and the relationship and sex parts of it probably didn't take over 30 minutes. Absolutely nothing was forced on me, nothing took me off my path to focus on those, if it happened, it happened in a natural way.
You should not take internet's overreaction of such things as the sole source of truth.
I think the main problem with GIMP is that it was made by developers with developers in mind, completely ignoring how digital artists work. Like it or not, everybody has to take pages from Photoshop (and co.) like how Affinity and Krita are doing, otherwise there's really no incentive to completely change your workflow.
Looks pretty good. I'm a sucker for pill based categories and control panels like yours and Android's. Wish I could do something like this on KDE (you can pry Plasma out of my cold dead hands)
I really appreciate you saying "if your situation and use case allows it". I'm sick of people "suggesting" these kind of things by just saying "don't do this" "stop doing that" while completely ignoring that not everyone has the same use cases, preferences and possibilities for such.
Brazil has PIX: 24/7 instant (inter)bank transfers without any fees, you only need the money and the other person's key (email, phone number, SSN, random key or QR code)
These things exist exactly because whales pay for it. Letting them keep whaling is not a solution nor a workaround, it's just being complacent to the issue.
I don't use a VPN nor I bother with one, I download movie torrents all the time (5 this week already) and the list is completely empty. I do have dynamic IP but ir usually only changes after I restart my router, which I haven't done for a month now.
why don’t we focus on getting more people to the very comfortable speed of 70Mbps before we give those that already have a good connection a better one.
Those things are not mutually exclusive and generally not even the same effort
Because it's Brave and people like to jump on bandwagons. This is like the 6th time I've seen this article posted in lemmybin also.
And since we have the reddit-minded folk here, no, I do not support Brave and never will and I would much rather they disappear from the internet, but using ragebait to complain about the browser installing the necessary files to have one of their advertised services working, like pretty much every other software does, is not the way to move forward.
I wasn't able to watch the video but did check out the document with all testing results, and it seems that the highest performing setup he got was with a 3080ti and even then he was unable to hit 60fps
It is made using Nvidia's RTX Studio, that is why it's called RTX.
It's also important to note that RTX is long past being just Nvidia's implementation of real time ray tracing, it is much bigger now as a suite of enhancements, technologies and tools.
CS GO (now CS 2) has constantly been on the top 5 most played steam games globally for a decade now, so yeah, I think people are still playing this game.
That Blizzard is selling their games on Steam at all speaks volumes about how poorly they are doing.
No, it doesn't at all. All of this was just preparation for the Microsoft acquisition, by having Actiblizzard games in a third party platform as a way to show that they're "not creating a monopoly"
This makes no sense to me. There’s people in the comments literally telling me to go kill myself and that’s fine but, me politely disagreeing is worthy of a 30 day ban.
You can absolutely play CSGO and it only takes a few clicks from the CS2 entry in steam. You still have community servers, which were always a big thing in CS.
You cannot play Overwatch 1 or old Warcraft 3 at all, doesn't matter how many clicks you try.
Samsung has released a new video in support of Google’s #GetTheMessage campaign which calls for Apple to adopt RCS or “Rich Communication Services,” the cross-platform protocol pitched as a successor to SMS that adopts many of the features found in modern messaging apps… like Apple’s own iMessage.
That pretty much only affected the small percentage of American users that used Signal for the SMS integration. For everyone else it literally made no difference whatsoever. Besides, it is completely in line with their vision to not include SMS since it is an insecure protocol.
The only way something replaces WhatsApp is if WhatsApp stops existing.
Besides, RCS is not in any shape or form ready to the general public, considering all the blatant inconsistencies and instabilities, let alone replace one of the most used, tried and tested messaging platforms out there.
C and B are definitely happening in the next months, A will start by the end of next year, as support for Bard dwindles and Google moves on to the next AI assistant that has half the features and polish of the previous one.
And there's NeoWin again with the Windows 12 clickbaits. This "leak" is just Windows 11 IoT Enterprise Subscription, and there's absolutely nothing nowhere that even mentions the number 12.
And there's NeoWin again with the Windows 12 clickbaits. This "leak" is just Windows 11 IoT Enterprise Subscription, and there's absolutely nothing nowhere that even mentions the number 12.
The references to subscription were related to IoT Enterprise Subscription, which has nothing to do with the consumer facing OS that we all use. There's also no mention whatsoever of Windows 12 in this leak, or anything else coming from Microsoft, except for NeoWin's clickbait articles where they slap the 12 and make false claims without any basis, such as the one pcmag based this article on.
That's not true. You can go upwards to 33% grey and it'll have the same effect as completely black if I recall correctly, but the all around energy saved by using dark mode isn't anything to write home about, really.
Definitely not nearly enough as if a company such as Nestlé acted to actually become sustainable and green, but it's all about guilt tripping John Smith into making his life more miserable on the fake promise that he's actually helping save the planet while companies keep trying to destroy it.
CD Projekt Red reveals that all Cyberpunk 2077 mods have now been disabled with the release of both 2.0 and Phantom Liberty, leaving many split on the decision.
I think they're aiming for people being split between updating the game and not having their mods working, or not updating the game and playing their mods.
It's just click and rage bait, this whole thing has been worded to seem like CDPR is disallowing mods forever and people are upset with it.
These people also don't live in the real world. "Hey buddy, I know all your friends are using this chat service, but just stop using it and move to this barebones, extensively complex to setup service and everyone will follow suit, trust me"
Do not recommend Tiny10/11. They are modified Windows ISOs and we have no way of knowing what actually was modified and if there's anything malicious under the hood.
Besides it also completely breaks a bunch of actually useful features.
