The philosopher of language Paul Grice introduced the concept in his pragmatic theory, argued such:
Make your contribution such as is required, at the stage at which it occurs, by the accepted purpose or direction of the talk exchange in which you are engaged.[1]: 45
Or the exact same thing happens and you can’t even get a response to them because you’re relying on a synchronous mode of communication which requires both parties to be engaged at the same time …
Or you could just send them a message and they’ll see it when they look.
According to a new report from Rentals, In July, the Canadian rental market hit a record high with an average asking rent of $2,078, marking an 8.9 per cent annual increase.
The individual Canadians buying houses aren’t to blame either.
Foreign and corporate investment are the big problems, and what are the politicians doing about? For thirty fuckin years, what have the politicians done? Sweet fuck all.
I feel like Godot’s AnimationTree is significantly more valuable and useful than Unity’s Animator component. You can nest your Statemacchins or blend trees or BlendSpace2Ds. You can attach scripts to individual Statemachine Transitions if you wanted....
I believe this to be an emergent result of godots node structure. All those classes for animation extend from Resource, so you can do much the same things with them as you do with any other resource.
Unity otoh is composed of a bunch of discrete systems which don’t share anything with each other, don’t talk to each other, are developed in isolation from each other, and as a result barely work together.

I know that paint doesn’t work well with TPU and that the typical way to color a piece is with dye. Does anyone have experience decorating prints that will see heavy use? Like if I wanted to use multiple colors, can dyes be brushed on similar to how one might hand paint a model? Is there a better way to do what I want?
Crazy thought, but tourist destinations are usually pretty nice for a reason. You’re never going to see the slums or the backwaters if you’re just doing the tourist thing.
Anyone who has ever struggled with depression knows get happy advice is all bullshit.
Yes there’s things we can do to help improve our mood. But improving your mood and being made happy are two very different things. A distinction nobody seems to understand.
Specifically in the USA, but feel free to share your status quo. We live in the internet age, doesn’t that cut overhead with filing and make things cheaper?
That’s when you just get another job and if the company calls you when youneed to be at the other job you say “too bad I’m busy with my other job I was forced to get because you wouldn’t give me hours when I needed them. No can do, see you at my next scheduled shift”
What do you have to lose, a job that wasn’t giving you hours anyway?
because the entire world population was dying from COVID
Okay I’m no anti vaxxer but this is just going to get you laughed at by the people you’re trying to convince.
About 1% was at risk of death, and that’s no small number, and we all had to get vaccinated to protect them, and that’s fine. But outright stating the entire world population was dying is just laughable sensationalism.
If you want to convince people, you’re never going to do it with sensationalism, especially when that sensationalism is so dramatic is flat out wrong.
Is the “healing power of certain plants” about how like yarrow contains a natural antibiotic and you can chew it and put it on a wound if you don’t have access to first aid … Or about how overpriced arnica salve will cure your bad feelings?
Certain plants really do have healing powers, but in my experience every time someone is talking about it they’re just trying to sell snake oil.
As someone who casually likes classical music, I can’t stand talking to people who like classical music. They’re all elitist twits. It’s like how metalheads get all aloof because they understand “real” music, except with classical there’s actually a legitimate culture of elitism that has existed for centuries, and they think that a history of elitism somehow justifies the attitude.
It’s one of those things that sounds really cool when you describe it because you use lots of big techy words, but ultimately it’s just some weird noises.
You should introduce it just as abstract sound art, or something, and then people will have a realistic expectation and you can elaborate on techniques if they show further interest.
I spending this days trying to import the adobe maximo models and animation, but this importing system really don’t make me feel good. I think you’re going to have a really hard time with that approach, especially if the models are complex enough to need any weight painting. Godot can’t do weight painting.
