I actually heard recently that morrowind used some procedural tech in the generation of it’s world. They just picked the generation to go with and built on top of it rather than handcrafting from scratch. Which is what starfield should’ve done to at least a handful of planets that are off significance.

Kind of you have a different quip for each one, then reporting it the Devs will know what the issue is but any bad actors won’t be able to try and discern cause and effect from any exploits they are trying (or at least make it harder)

I don’t have a problem with the overall format but the fact that they start blasting music 60 seconds into a speech to get them to finish after the guest spent 6 minutes chatting shit why video games are actually cool now just like the movies, was very disrespectful in my opinion. I feel like the industry has matured enough to be beyond these kinds of guests but geoff still thinks we need some kind of validation from Hollywood while the shunning of the actual winners is just icing on the cake.

I’ve never watched the other awards because I never know when they’re on or know where to watch them. They haven’t really advertised them, they just happen one day and then outlets start talking about them in the past tense.

It put messages in their own section that is distinctly separate from the server list. A good change in my opinion and they didn’t do it like slack where they took up more screen real estate so there literally isn’t a downside other than “that’s not where I’m used to clicking”

I’ve always seen gta games go for a stylised realism, never tried realism. This in, art style terms. looks exactly like GTA V

I really liked it when it first popped up as what felt like a skype replacement. Now though, it’s awful. To be honest though it’s not at discords fault, mostly. It’s due to how every online community is wanting to use discord for their communities. They treat it like a forum, even though it can’t truly act like one. Discord is good for having servers for different friend groups, but for the giant, in the three digit populated servers, nah. Too much going on in there unless I’m terminally online.

Why wouldn’t they keep track of what you listen to even without wrapped? It’s just standard telemetry. They need to keep track of plays to pay artists accordingly, and they keep track of what you listen to specifically so they can give you recommendations. How would you think recommendations would work without some kind of tracking?

Also what’s scary about knowing what you listened to? Heck me and my significant other guess each others top song and artist and we’re always close even though we don’t hear everything each of us listen to. And what nefarious purposes is Spotify usage going to be used for that makes it so scary?

You still get pop up Christmas stores as well. They’re not a chain or anything just privately owned stores where they lease out an unused shop for a month or two just to peddle allsorts of Christmas stuff from it

To add on to that, I love total war games but I never do the battles, I’d love one that focused just on the strategy map. But I’m imagining your wanting the strategy map of the likes of crusader kings but with total war style battles right?

And yeah I’d argue what makes a toastie is much more lenient than the american counterparts.

I’ve seen a toastie been called a toastie just because it was essentially a sandwich with toast.

I’m not a fan of antiperspirant. They’re supposed to stop you from sweating but for me they just make my sweating worse for when they eventually run their course. So i just use deodorant now.

I have sensitive skin under my armpits it seems so I have to be careful with what did I use under there and the only ones I seen to get away with are the natural ones that try to neutralise the smell by killing the bacteria that create that smell rather just masking the smell like most standard deodorant. It’s not 100% but it’s better for my skin and it’s better than putting nothing at all on.

I’ll never use antiperspirant again though, they just clog up pores and what they clog pores with is often a big pollutant to the rest of the world or at least damaging to the environment around you for little animals.

Bad deodorant, sure. The good ones will try to eliminate the bacteria causing the BO so you don’t smell without having to mask it. There’s definitely loads out there that don’t get rid of the smell though.

But yeah, people should wear good deodorant and not antiperspirant in my opinion.

Half life 1 just got a new big update that makes it much better to play this day and age and fixed a bunch of bugs. Either way you could skip 1. As a kid I never played 1 and went straight into 2, then 2 episodes 1 and 2 with the orange box. I still haven’t finished 1 but with this new update I think I’ll go back to it some point soon now.
