At what threshold do you go full bald at? I’ve been struggling with this for years as my hair thins out. I’ve got the balding dome on my crown in the back, which of course I never see unless I look with 2 mirrors.

I watched Airplane II last night. Hadn’t seen it since I was a kid. I remember it being as funny as the first one but now not so much. Just a lot of recycled dumb jokes from the first one. Although the end scenes with William Shatner did crack me up - pretty much the only saving grace.
I rocked a Samsung Alias 2 for 4 years before I got an iPhone 5. The e-ink keyboard was awesome how it changed when you flipped the screen open to portrait or landscape.
I’m just now getting into it. Set up a laptop with Ubuntu running Plex media server. Been taking some real baby steps watching basic Linux tutorials.
It did take me about 4 hours to figure out how to mount an ext HDD so that Plex would have proper permissions to find the media. It was very rewarding to finally frickin resolve that! I’m still gonna keep pecking away and learn as I go while watching I keep watching tutorials.
Yeah I never truly resolved the proper permission settings - tried to understand and research and figure it out even though I’m a complete Linux newb.
My workaround was figuring out that I can mount the drive in the Plex directory and it finally could see the media. I had to override the default behavior when Unbuntu auto mounts it to a specific directory when you plug the HDD in while the OS is running.
Good thing is there’s a video tutorial for almost anything like that on the internet at least. One of the more essential, helpful things this age of information sharing has contributed to.

Although I’m not thrilled about having this device connected to the cloud and a private company. I’ve heard that are certain robot vacs that can be hacked to use a local home automation controller or something of that nature. Need to research that more and will probably try to go with something like that as an option when this thing kicks the bucket.

It sucks. If I get a dense piece of food lodged in there, I can’t get any fluids down and will start to just regurgitate anything I drink or eat. It feels like the worst heartburn in the world mixed with nausea until it gets dislodged.
I think I don’t personally agree with your intentions even though it’s a bit vague. If you are shy in general with low self esteem and want to change that, you should focus on that imo and not have that challenge specifically tied to finding a mate/getting laid.

I got my foot in the door for my career through nepotism(aunt was an employee). Started with a bunch of other temps. I worked very hard though and have felt extremely grateful throughout the years for the opportunity. My cousin also started as a temp a couple years later at the same company.
