What phone do you sugest for your grandparents?

I got a task to buy a smart phone for my grandparents, they are not techsavy but they know how to use basic functions. Iam looking for an andoid because it has language pack i need. I dont need it to have lots of functions, onley a good camera and a big screen. Bonus points if it can be flashed with some kind of simplefied...

A lotta folks host their own instance simply to have a bit more control over what they personally see since until 0.19, only instance admins can block an entire instance. It also allows you to see metrics you can’t otherwise; such as the actual users who voted up and down on a specific post.

I saw the post and comments in question earlier and thought to myself that it was dumb. Having a unique title for posts helps find them again if you’re not in the habit of saving every single thing you come across, so I’ve always kinda hated the “every post needs this exact title” rule on various subreddits.

That said, I’m also not fond of titles that are 100% emojis.

Now that it’s legal, it’s not really regional to in and around Humboldt County; there are weed farms in the central valley now. Also, meth is stronger and much more present outside the green strip.

You could be tied to a specific piece of shit you don’t like because it’s what your job requires you to use.

I had to work with Salesforce and when I’d complain about it, Id be given all sorts of alternatives. These are nice but… The dude in charge of what the rest of us had to use liked Salesforce, so we all suffered.

I’ve gone through this shit back in the days of MSN Messenger, ICQ, and AIM. I didn’t exactly switch then, either. Instead I went with Trillian and later Pigin to just use all of them at the same time under one account. Same thing is happening now with everyone I know on different apps. Except there isn’t anything like Trillian or Pigin for any of 'em.

So yeah, I want to discuss or point out why I think Valve needs to fix Anti-Cheat issues. They have VAC but apparently its doing jackshit, be it Counter Strike 2 (any previous iterations) or something like Hunt: Showdown the prevalence of cheating players is non deniable. My only issue with VAC and Valve’s policy on dealing with cheaters isn’t that their anti-cheat isn’t good; it’s that even when a player is flagged for using cheats, it doesn’t instantly remove them. It waits, sometimes months after flagging them before it actually doles out punishment.

Their reasoning is that it slows down new cheats being made; but what the hell does that matter if the existing cheats it flags are still allowed to be used for months at a time?

That said, it’s rare I encounter cheaters in CS. Plenty of other games I play where there are constant, obvious cheaters that aren’t even being detected by the anti-cheats in use, since they ban instantly on detection.

What even is your complaint? Who the fuck cares if kids don’t play it? You’re already wrong about them being the target audience; the target audience for 90% of games is adult men, 18-35yo.

There is at least one random encounter during a rest. You have to fight some people that come to steal one of your companions.

That’s not random… It’s entirely scripted and happens 100% of the time you have that character in your camp at the same spot in the story.

All of them meaning all of the mods that clearly do things out of bigotry like turning black characters white, erasing gay characters, erasing trans issues, etc.

This isn’t a particularly hard moral or ethical question to anyone who isn’t trying to allow hateful content to spread.

The big difference is that when mods remove a single gay character, it’s always the only gay character in the game.

If the mod adding gay characters turns all the straight characters gay, that’s erasure. If the new gay character has dialogue that is hateful toward straight people, it’s still bigotry.

Adding representation to a game that has none is fine. Removing representation entirely isn’t.
