Would it be faster to just get a mining laser and shoot asteroids than landing on planets and scouring for resource nodes when it comes to gathering materials like phosphorus and manganese?
Driving around on the planets for these things is maddening. They’re so far apart, barely drop what I’m looking for, and there’s never really any danger to break up the monotony....

Was just thinking about this while taking a boring regular shower with water. A sonic shower just vibrates at high intensity to pulverize dirt and knock it from your body; but what about oils and lipids and all that other stuff that makes you stinky?...
Games that require you to unlock the basic functions of the game can suck my nuts.
I have recently played 3 games that have forced a lengthy, unskippable tutorial section that runs for several hours of the game, just to unlock the most basic functions like buying the items, customizing features, multiplayer, and even 2-player split screen modes....

Why are there SO MANY brown dwarfs?
The most common star in both the real galaxy, and the game, are red dwarfs. There are about 1 brown dwarfs for every other star type IRL. So, I am on a cold planet right now. It says it is -18 degrees Celsius on the scanner and I keep getting frostbite and hypothermia effects from it, despite having 45 thermal protection assuming these all stack from each piece of my suit (suit, helmet, pack)....
Are there actually any skins to find in game?
Been playing a while now and I right away noticed one of the modding slots is for skins; but I’ve yet to get any more skins unlocked besides the single “default” option. I’m wondering if they even have any in the game or if it’s just there for future stuff/mods.

Is there no way to do this? I keep getting held up jumping to places because it wants to jump to another nearby star I haven’t been to, when there is a perfectly good way to plot through stars I have been to.
