Isn’t this website AI generated stuff

Kidplayer_666,

I mean, not like the UN resolutions are actually enforceable for the most part

Kidplayer_666,

Didn’t the Houthis fire at Chinese ships too?

Kidplayer_666,

Didn’t Trump hold especially dear his correspondence with macron?

Kidplayer_666,

Where I live it’s mostly whatsapp

Kidplayer_666,

I would argue that maybe news is a reasonable analogy. By living in a certain community you will mostly consume local news. However that does not stop you from checking other towns’ newspapers. This is why I think the default client and web interface should have a federated tab so as to make it every obvious how easy it is to interact with other servers.

Kidplayer_666,

You could even have other more accurate analogies: for example, you can use the telephone analogy. You can be on Verizon and still call people that are on AT&T, joining different providers. Heck, mastodon is a more realistic digital townsquare. You can join and be in any town, but that does not stop you from going into other towns to hear what they are talking about over there

Kidplayer_666,

And Ukraine clearly is not ready. They’re a weak democracy filled with corruption. The fact that they are in the middle of a war also doesn’t help.

The EU on the other hand still needs significant reform, when it comes to visibility to the general population, figuring out how to root out unanimity stuff on the EU commission, and figuring out what to do with idiots like orban. And making clear that EU law supersedes national law

Kidplayer_666,

If it were, where is my Linux version

Kidplayer_666,

*and then maybe sent it back to google anyways

Kidplayer_666,

Why would someone recommend an OS that sucks

Kidplayer_666,

That’s sacrilege. Temple os is the best os

Kidplayer_666,

At Linux is my garbage contrary to Microsoft Windows which is just garbage

Kidplayer_666,

Probably cause of the liquid that dissolves the wax to remove it from the ear

Kidplayer_666,

Maybe they used the fluid?

Kidplayer_666,

Not really, because suddenly the shareholders are a heck of a lot easier to reach and ask to get rid of a particular manager

Kidplayer_666,

Recognising that too much dependence on outside manufacturing on non allied countries is a strategic risk, trying to move essential manufacturing back (example: advanced electronics)

Kidplayer_666,

Wait really? I wanna a link for that

Kidplayer_666,

The problem is, as usual, Flying Spaghetti Monster showing that it’s hard to define what is a religion, therefore abuse

Kidplayer_666,

Didn’t they get legal recognition in like Germany or something? Maybe Denmark is next

Kidplayer_666,

Well, it solves two issues at the same time. Corrects grammar and is a compliment too

Kidplayer_666,

Probably ussr though. He wanted stuff like sharing and such, all commie ideas

Kidplayer_666,

Half the way towards being a commie is most of the way

Kidplayer_666,

And I’ve had enough internet for today

Kidplayer_666,

I mean, the hotel was his, and not like he asked for anything unreasonable

Kidplayer_666,

I mean, technically boomers saw Korea, Vietnam, Cuban missile crisis, Yom Kippur, (sorry if it’s misspelled), and the 70s oil crisis. I think the world has really just been interesting all this time

Kidplayer_666,

I wanted to cover till their thirties to do the parallel with millennials

Kidplayer_666,

With the amount of ads, effective search engines will soon be a thing of the past!

Kidplayer_666,

Either by paying up and shutting up or by owning the factories themselves you’d lose a bunch of money, so not sure that’s the way to tackle it

Kidplayer_666,

Well, portuguese here, that record period can be mostly attributed to hydropower as we’ve seen unusually high levels of rainfall over that period that we haven’t seen in a while. And because we decided to try and ditch stuff like coal in a rush, there was an uncomfortable while where our grid very much depended on electricity imports, which don’t come from clean sources, we just outsourced the problem.

Renewable capacity is still growing however, but with climate change making droughts here more frequent, the main hydrofallback may not become as much of an option

Kidplayer_666,

Which is known for being less in line with demand

China: gets Britain addicted to tea

Kidplayer_666,

He’d just say: get whatever is better. Firefox is a better deal, you don’t give data and get a browser

Kidplayer_666,

Mate, you might be 30 years in the past

Isn’t there Green With Envy to monitor NVIDIA stuff on Linux?

Query about your linux daily drivers?

So i have my main system, i have been running NixOS on for over a year. It has been a pleasure to daily drive. And ive recently been playing with gentoo and funtoo. And althought alot of information, which is somewhat overwhelming but is slowly growing on me and making me appreatate linux as a whole. So i was wondring what other...

Kidplayer_666,

Running the Fedora Asahi Linux on my sweet sweet MacBook M1 :P

Kidplayer_666,

More than a month now, and no crashes. All the issues I had, were my fault. Although in some very specific situations it seems to get in a memory filling cycle until the swap gets filled and there’s a crash

Kidplayer_666,

I don’t think so. I’ve opened htop during one such event and swap space was getting filled despite the ram being mostly empty. Even after closing everything, the swap occupied continued to increase

Kidplayer_666,

I’m on their IRC and have reported bugs a few times. However, I haven’t been able to replicate it yet, so I’m not too worried
