I don’t pretend to have a solution, merely that whatever you choose is fine.
I haven’t been through your exact situation but sometimes, some people just don’t deserve a place in your life.

It’s easy to think you owe him your presence just because he’s family, but really, you don’t.
Neither do your kids.

You’re not a burden. You deserve better.

I’ve heard good comments about Orange is the new black, although I’ve never watched it.

I just remembered The Last Of Us series came out, but I forgot to check it out.

I rewatched Sailor Moon not too long ago, and it’s pretty LGBTQ+ friendly for something out of the 90s.
Whatever you do avoid the dic dub at all costs.
The VIZ dub is pretty good, but the DIC dub is garbage.
The originals can get repetitive at times.
The reboot has better pacing with a less helpless main protagonist, but some of the story bits made more sense to me in the originals.

  1. Parenthese
  2. Exponent
  3. Multiplication or Division
  4. Addition or Substraction

PEMDAS should be read as Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication and Division, Addition and Subtraction. There are four levels of priority, not six.

Short story, PEMDAS kinda sucks, because it has 4 levels of priority, but 6 letters:

  1. P
  2. E
  3. MD
  4. AS

M and D are the same level, priority is from left to right.
A and S are the same level, priority is from left to right.

Just tested this on a Ti-83 too.

Honestly, that’s a good question that I don’t know the answer to.
I don’t know that I’d care doing anything super specific, but mostly that I’d want to spend at least some of that time with the people I love.
Not even as a goodbye, really.
There’s just something about connecting with people that is its own reward, for one more moment.

Maybe I’d like to watch the stars on a clear night, away from the big city lights?
Gazing at the light from a star from a billion years ago, there’s always been something calming to me about the sheer vastness of the universe. Our time here, almost a blip, but ever precious.

Être à l’étage a l’avantage que l’appartement du dessous réchauffe un peu chez vous.
Si eux ils chauffent un peu plus, tu en profites.
Être le dernier étage a le désavantage que c’est moins isolé au dessus de ta tête et qu’une partie de la chaleur se perd là.

Tu ne chauffes déjà pas beaucoup (en °).
Quand tu chauffes jusqu’à 19, il fait 19 au thermostat, mais le reste de ton appartement est probablement à différentes températures. Si ça ne reste pas à 19 longtemps et que tu l’éteint rapidement, ça refroidissement plus vite que si ça fait longtemps que c’est à 19.
Ex: il fait 19 au thermostat, mais les objets sont encore froids.

Tout ça pour dire, c’est difficile de juger en calculant juste “combien de temps ça prends pour perdre x degrés”.
J’explique…
Chez nous, je chauffes à 22.5° tout le temps (24/7).
Comme ça fait des jours qu’il fait 22.5, pas mal tout est à 22.5, pas seulement au thermostat.
Si je ferme le système dans la maison, la masse thermique de toutes les choses qui s’y trouvent ralenti (un peu) le refroidissement. Pas tant que ça mais un peu.

Les murs extérieurs et les vitres sont probablement la principale source de perte de chaleur dans ton cas.
Par chez nous il se vend un genre de pellicule plastique qu’on installe au séchoir à cheveux (ça fait rétrécir et tendre la pellicule pour enlever les plis).
Ça aide à isoler certaines fenêtres en hiver.
Pour le mur en brique, je sais pas. Pas grand chose à faire. J’ai déjà vu des gens installer des draperies aux murs, c’est probablement un peu comme ça qu’ils isolaient certaines pièces de châteaux…

Désolé, je ne suis pas d’une grande aide, mais dans mon cas, j’ai la géothermie dans une maison détachée, alors ça se compare mal.
Quand j’étais en condo ça me coûtait moins cher que toi, mais je n’ai aucune idée combien tu paie du kWh par chez vous et j’avais un seul mur extérieur et des voisins sur 3 côtés + en haut et en bas. Je ne chauffais pratiquement jamais car tous mes voisins réchauffaient assez chez nous.

Là c’est pas super isolé et ça me coûte entre 600 rt 700$ pour l’année complète pour chauffer/climatiser à 22.5° pour des températures du Québec entre -35 et 35.
La géothermie c’est magique, mais peu plausible en appartement.

Fait gaffe à laisse trop refroidir tu peux avoir des problèmes de condensation, moisissures ou même de tuyaux qui éclatent s’il fait vraiment trop froid.
