Fallenwout,

My BMW E36 convertible 1995. I really love driving it. I can’t believe it is almost 30yrs old. https://lemmy.world/pictrs/image/3b249619-61e8-468f-ad75-889cfffab596.jpeg

Fallenwout,

Meanwhile you, as a kid, enjoyed the good life because of it.

Fallenwout,

My parents provided me with a good life. And they used the things that causes global warming to do so, as do you while posting the internet.

They brought me to school when it rained with their car. Bought a color tv, vcr and Nintendo to keep me entertained. We went on holidays during summer with the car or a plane. We went to see car races, went karting. We did boat trips. And I enjoyed every bit of it.

Everyone blaming that generation for global warming. While their survival chances were uplifted times 100 because of hygiene. Clean clothes, warm houses, safe and dry traveling. Electronicss for learning. 1/3 of the people complaining about them causing global warming wouldn’t even survived or be here to complain about it if that generation didn’t use the tools at their disposal.

Everyone thinking that generation caused it and they themselves did not benefit from it are just hypocrites.

That said, we should try and minimize global warming.

I am a millennial, snowflake.

Fallenwout,

I adjusted my reply. I’ll be here for global warming you respectless human being. Go back to reddit.

Fallenwout,

Wake up call you uninformed. You’re full of lead as well.

Fallenwout,

No, science did.

Fallenwout,

Bedjet. I have constant nightmares which make me soaking in sweat. This thing keeps you and your sheets dry all night. Keeps me cool in the summer and warm in the winter. And the quality is something I have never seen before

Fallenwout,

Yes it is good, that’s why I put it in this topic. But only if you don’t bother a little breeze going over you. You can set the fan very low, you won’t feel it but it still works.

I occasionally have to change the temp. But that is user error, when you’re cold going to bed, you tend overcompensate to warm up and fall a sleep.

There are buttons with different built in timers. Max hot only runs for 10min at 45c. That’s a good thing.

They are expensive, but I would buy again.

You can also make temperature curves when it automatically changes temp over a set period of time.

Fallenwout,

Never tried. I have nightmares all my life, got used to it. When I was younger I was scared to fall a sleep, I tried to stay awake as long as I could. I am still sleep deprived though. Some weekends I sleep 15hrs straight.

Fallenwout,

Yes. I have used it. It is only necessary when not set to heating so you don’t get cold feet. Otherwise it will blow on your feet. I currently use it without the sheet.

The vanishing of the small high-end smartphone (www.smh.com.au)

Manufacturers don’t make displays under 6 inches available for purchase, with special cases (such as the iPhone Mini) being made under exclusive contracts. The best lead they have so far is to try to use displays designed for the front part of a foldable phone, but they’re yet to strike an agreement....

Fallenwout,

75% of your battery cycle, the screen is off. So a smaller screen can only win battery in that 25% window. A bigger battery on the other hand can be applied to 100% of the cycle.

Unless you go oldschool lcd, a smaller screen does not gain as much as a bigger battery for battery cycle time.

Fallenwout,

If you can’t recognize this massive sarcastic comparison between war and profanity, you’re not ready for the internet.

Fallenwout,

Fire that principal. He’s a bad example for students.

Fallenwout,

It is totally not forgotten though. Actually pretty popular.

Fallenwout,

And it takes 3 clips to fully load it.

Fallenwout,

It is like your screen name but without the “r”

Fallenwout,

Unexpected but very nice of them to do so.

Fallenwout,

We’re still full of lead btw. Little aircrafts (cescna style, r22 helicopters) still fly on leaded fuel over your house. Chemtrails are real, they just don’t come from boeings ;)

Fallenwout,

Radiation? That’s were the lead poisoning comes in handy ;)

Fallenwout,

Leaded addons for fuel was invented by the same guy who invented freon as pressure gas in aerosols and airco making a hole in the ozon layer. He fucked us twice

Fallenwout,

These microplastics consist mainly out of bisphenol A, which bonds to estrogen receptors, that with waste water from “the pill” for woman making a boost in the last 30yrs. Which hardly gets filtered out of tapwater, might be the reason why so many young people struggle with their gender.

I dont mean this bad, but if your are hormonal imbalanced when hitting puberty, weird stuf happens. Just a brain fog thought.

Before you start to downvote. My daughter is trans with my blessing. But it really made me thinking about it. Mainly because she only drinks tapwater and seems like hooked to it. She is under the tap every 30min, doesn’t like anything else to do drink.

Fallenwout, (edited )

I have edited as to why this comes to mind.

Fallenwout,

Yes exactly, lead and criminality is a proven statistics but came only late in the research, correlating takes time.

You see the rise in lgbt, it just might be that the population is more tolerant and they don’t have to hide anymore (at least where I live) or there are idd external factors at play.

I dont mean to offend anyone with this, you do as you feel best about yourself.

It is an open conversation and instead of downvoting, I would really like people to tell me why this cannot a plausible link

Fallenwout,

Atoms decaying *

Fallenwout,

Finding “subLemmy’s”. I just browse the main page and block the sublemmys i dont like.

Fallenwout,

Then you’ll see them put their phone on speaker while holding it to their ear.

Fallenwout,

Form over function. It is a wearable, give it a bezel to bump with instead of cuved glass.

What are some commonly known facts that are too bizarre for you to believe to be true?

For me it is the fact that our blood contains iron. I earlier used to believe the word stood for some ‘organic element’ since I couldn’t accept we had metal flowing through our supposed carbon-based bodies, till I realized that is where the taste and smell of blood comes from.

Fallenwout,

The fuel injectors are off when engine braking. It is the momentum of the car that keeps the engine running/rotating. That is why you are slowing down more rapidly because you’re losing momentum into the engine.

Fallenwout,

Just start learning line-of-sight before you go fpv. You need that to land in tight space when you bring it in. Fpv is easier than line of sight.

Fallenwout, (edited )

Now you know why they charge you that amount ;) Props for trying though, it seems you got the majority done.

Fallenwout,

Because of the war against nuclear plants. Our green party shut down nuclear plants in favor for renewable energy. But as predicted, renewables don’t meet our demands. So the green party started building gas plants to compensate instead of keeping nuclear running.

So why? Because of green idiocracry that demand the impossible of green energy (at this moment) and nuclear = evil

Fallenwout,

Meanwhile, Belgium is phasing out nuclear in favor of gas burning plants

Fallenwout,

Not even a fhd screen, only 90hz, with a camera cutout while it has bezels…

Fallenwout,

So basically discovery. Because she has this cry face all the time.

Caste matters : California Assembly passes anti-caste Bill, soon to make it official state law (www.thenewsminute.com)

In another significant moment for the movement against caste discrimination in the United States, a Bill to make caste discrimination illegal was passed by the California State Assembly on Monday, August 28, with 50 votes in its favour and only three against it. It was earlier passed by the state's Senate in May this year. With...

Fallenwout,

Why is this worldnews when it is about a state in a country.

Fallenwout,

If 85% breaks a speed limit, they should revise that limit because there is clearly something wrong with it.

Fallenwout, (edited )

Yes at least 8 years or younger. That is mad. You can afford a new car every 8 yrs? I cannot.

The statistics of the 90% are meaningless. You have to be dumb to drive a non-compliant car into a LEZ. So yea, 90% is complaint, I don’t need a statistic for that. I can also tell you that 90% of people who drink are thirsty.

Fallenwout,

Except it doesn’t were we live in Antwerp. Covid prooved that. Our emissions come from the port. During lockdown, it was a year with very little travel. Emissions stayed the same.

Fallenwout,

Diesel cars have to be 8 yrs or younger. Then they go for export to countries without low emissions zones for peanuts.

Do you think we will ever have affordable housing again in our lifetime?

Considering how crazy expensive accommodations have become the last couple of years, concentrated in the hands of greedy corporations, landlords and how little politicians seem to care about this problem, do you think we will ever experience a real estate market crash that would bring those exorbitant prices back to Earth?

Fallenwout,

You heard him! Let’s all sleep outside in the gutters until the bubble bursts.

Fallenwout,

No, unless there is a thanos-snap, then everything like housing, energy, and climate change will resolve automatically. But if humans keep on breeding like bunnies and outsmart things like aids, ebola, and even covid, overpopulation will put a lot more people in misery.

Every problem we solve only gives the opportunity for population growth… until the earth can’t sustain us anymore.

It sounds cruel and that is why a lot of people won’t admit this.
