What’s really strange to me, is that for all the expertise around dentistry, AFAIK there has never been an actual evidence-based study for how long and how often you should brush and floss.
Its literally the most important piece of dental advice they could study, and no research has been done. How much plaque builds up on average when only brushing once per week, once per month? It makes me question the whole discipline and wonder if they don’t just say “brush 10 times a day” in order to sell more dental products.
Maybe they’d discover that actually you only need to brush twice a week, and floss twice a week. Maybe it ends up being flossing every day, and brushing once a month… who knows.

When someone is being consistent with something they said years ago, it adds nothing to say, “but context”.
If I posted about how Biden supported racially segregated busing, and was against gay marriage, then you might have a point in claiming context, since the democratic party has opportunistically changed its mind on those.

I imagine a lot of people at the UN are having a “can’t fight city hall” moment right now: seeing Palestinian genocide take place, but being powerless to do anything about it, and feeling the guilt and complicity involved with the UN refusing to go against the US’s wishes.
I can’t tell from this comment, but yes, I’m doing a rewatch rn, and Kira very much admits that she killed non-combatant cardassians during the occupation, and much of the first season is her anger at what the cardassians forced them to do.
Sorry, I interpreted your first comment for some reason as saying that Kira did not target civilians and blow stuff up, and so she wouldn’t be considered a terrorist by today’s standards. Yes I 100% agree she would, and she would be demonized as much as the Palestinian resistance is today.
