ColeSloth,

FML. 8 out of 20. I suck at this.

ColeSloth,

Oh man. In 1997 a sweet looking car Called a Plymouth Prowler came out and little tween me made my aim name, email, and eventually ebay name Prowler1234 (numbers changed).

I never thought about how totally sketch it was to be on aim and in forums with the screen name Prowler. Lol

It’s still my ebay account name.

ColeSloth,

Spoiler alerts, obviously:

None of DragonBall introduced new forms.

Beyond that it’s a little more dicey on what you would call a new “form”. A lot of archs had a power increase pre ssj1, but no form change. The radditz saga didn’t have one. The vagita saga didn’t have one, but the kio-ken burst move was implemented. The namek/Ginyu saga had no form changes but Goku became super strong while training under 100g gravity while going to Namek. The Dr.Gero saga had no new forms, but Vagita became a ssj1. Garlic Jr saga didn’t have any but I wouldn’t call that a major arch. It was more like filler. Ssj2 popped up at the start of the Bobbidy saga but flat lined there until the Buu saga. The otherworld tournament had no new ones.

That’s all I can think of off the top of my head.

ColeSloth,

GT is pretty bad, not really done by Toriyama, and was written out as cannon. In the DB world it no longer exists.

ColeSloth,

As a people; no, I did not.

ColeSloth,

It’s actually pretty old, now. I just can’t believe people are willing to drink the stuff, better or not.

ColeSloth,

Verse four and five are busted.

ColeSloth,

Reviewers get games prior to release day. So it may not be so likely that you can get a working game without the day 1 patch.

ColeSloth, (edited )

But this Futurama episode was already done (and purposely copied in the episode) by the 1983 movie about a possessed 1958 Plymouth Fury. The movie and the possessed car in it was named “Christine”. That’s also a Plymouth fury in the same colors in the Futurama episode.

ColeSloth,

Nice. A repost from two days ago from a repost from 5 years ago. This us old news.

ColeSloth,

Their tizen chips aren’t good if you want to game. That’ll be about it compared to other high end phones. No SD slot, jack, or swappable battery.

ColeSloth,

Oopsie

ColeSloth,

All while they can’t make new content from the strikes? They better buy up some gold for shows to binge watch like Battle Star Galactica.

I still have it cause it’s free with t mobile.

ColeSloth,

His fall downward and burn up in the atmosphere due to the low location. His actually leave no space junk in orbit.

ColeSloth,

Get 4 hours of sleep and call it normal.

Finally found it after two years! (sh.itjust.works)

This ammo can is the final stop for a multi, which I started on back in 2021. The clues for the final are in an easily accessible, urban area. But once I put them all together, the final was fully 10km away, on a hike part way up a mountain! I had the final saved to my phone and ignored for a long time before finally heading out...

ColeSloth,

I thought you’d been looking for it for the past two years by your title. Turns out you were just so lazy you put off going up there for two years. Lol

ColeSloth,

I’m more curious about Hondas solid state battery for an electric car.

ColeSloth,

My fire department (and most others) game plan is just protect exposures until its done burning. Giant heavy fireproof blankets exist to cover burning electric cars, but few if any departments have them.

The Steam Deck, nay Linux, is crying out for an official GeForce Now app (www.pcgamer.com)

“There is not a native app on Steam deck today,” said Andrew Fear, GFN boss, back in January. “Use a Chromium browser to make it work. I would say that both Nvidia and Valve, I think we’re both interested in making [GeForce Now on Steam Deck] better. But we don’t have any announcements on a native app coming to...

ColeSloth,

It saves battery life and let’s you have a higher and smoother framerate. You’re talking shit on something you’ve never even tried. Playing on high graphics at 60fps is a hell of a lot nicer than low graphics at 30 fps.

ColeSloth,

US doesn’t even get a faiphone…

ColeSloth,

That doesn’t work. The radio bands necessary to use cell phones and data in the US aren’t all in the fairphone. You can’t make it work right in the US, even if you have one.

ColeSloth,

Well it won’t work out very well when they already have less than 15% of the subscribers they thought they would have by now.

ColeSloth,

When they worked out those details they also thought they would have 20,000,000 subscribers before now and not just 2,000,000

ColeSloth,

I highly doubt that. They just got to 2 million customers like 5 months ago. If you’d average the costs in pricing differences between residential and business, etc. you would figure it averages out to $200 a month per account. Even if you pretend that they have had 2,000,000 customers for that last three years straight that would only amount to $1.2B and I’d guarantee they have well over that in costs thus far. Skipping all the R&D the 5,000 satellites up there right now cost $500,000 to $600,000 per satellite to get to orbit (so total cost, fuel, making satellite, etc.). Even at just $500k each that’s still $2.5B.

So yeah. There’s not really a snowballs chance in hell it’s in the black right now.

ColeSloth,

I can’t see how they’d even be at $1.6B. By their advertised pricing they should be averaging $200 per account per month. And they just recently got to two million customers. Even if they had two million customers for the entirety of the past three years (which not even close) that would still only be $1.2B in revenue.

ColeSloth,

That doesn’t say it’s made money. It says it is now bringing in more than it’s losing. It’s still currently upside down. Also, no way would I believe that website when it says starlink will make a profit by the end of this year. It’s a fluff piece to prime things for the upcoming IPO.

ColeSloth, (edited )

My girlfriend and kid put google eyes on EVERY SINGLE ITEM in the bathroom while I was at work. Every item in every drawer, in the shower, all the stuff under the sink, the toothpaste…everything. my comb has googly eyes on it. The entire bathroom can stare at me.

ColeSloth,

It was about a year and a half ago, so a good portion on things are either missing an eye or have been used up and replaced. Now I don’t know what I was thinking by not snapping any pictures back then.

ColeSloth,

Gotta make the transitional learning curve almost 0.

Namely give people a solid app to use (I use Thunder, which is a near clone to the reddit apk called relay for reddit) and implement a way to set up a screen name easier than having to “mysteriously track down some strange thing called an instance” and create your name there and then going and finding the apk to use and logging in under your instance and screen name and password.

It’s a turn off to how easy literally everything else on the internet is to set up. We need an apk that has a “new to lemmy” walk-through that explains how to navigate and sets you up with a login and instance. An apk with a 5 minute set up tutorial to get you started up and using lemmy would go a long ways in people coming and staying.

ColeSloth,

Keep yourself in a perfect bubble, but the actual majority if people (not the smaller more niche demographic on a place here like Lemmy) would consider any guy dating a Trans female to be gay or bi.

Your response makes it look like you think that isn’t true. If you actually believe that, you’re keeping yourself in a little bubble/echo chamber of the world, but you are in the minority, not the majority.

ColeSloth,

I used to read the hell out of QC, but I really thought they went off the rails like 8 (ish) years ago and lost interest. I’m surprised it’s still going. Is it still good at all?

ColeSloth,

They can feel act and behave like women all they want and that’s fine, but if physically you were a man and needed several parts of your body surgically and chemically changed then you’re floating in a gray area on how men think about that when it comes to dating. If you aren’t able to see that then you’re every bit as closed minded as any of the men who would have an issue with that. Full stop.

ColeSloth,

As more of anything is out there, more will be for sale used, but how badly will anyone want them? They degrade over time and installing is a huge cost. How much are you willing to pay for mismatched used solar panels from a 15 year old system?

ColeSloth,

What? Don’t be ridiculous. Of course you should still try to improve the situation. That’s like saying trucks that get 7MPG are bad for the environment but don’t bother making trucks that get 20MPG because it still runs on fossil fuels.

ColeSloth,

Not what I heard from an Irishman…

But jokes in poor taste aside, yeah. I’d have to agree. A lot of grains can also do really well, but potatoes are hearty, have a lot of what you need to live, and require no attraction work to make into food after you dig them out of the ground. Onions would also be high on the list, but aren’t as viable for keeping you alive as long when eating them, nutritionally.

ColeSloth,

“Bethesda has garnered a bit of a reputation for releasing games with loads of bugs in them,”

A bit? Lolololol

ColeSloth,

I have like 15 years left on a 30 year fixed rate. I’d like to move closer to where I work, but I don’t want another 30 year loan and a 15 year would currently be a much higher interest rate, so I’m stuck with my house until it’s close to being paid off. Doesn’t really matter what homes are costing when you have to buy another after selling. Expensive houses only help people who own multiple homes and aren’t replacing what they sell.

ColeSloth,

That’s why I carry a pocket knife. I don’t stab people, but I have it in case someone else would like to.

Cyberpunk runs 30% faster on linux than on windows 11 (m.youtube.com)

The YouTube channel “Maximum Fury” conducted a technical test of the new Cyberpunk add-on called “Phantom Liberty” on an older AMD hardware system, testing it separately on Linux and Windows 11. The Linux system, specifically the Fedora distribution called Nobara, performed significantly better, delivering 31% more...

ColeSloth,

30 percent of real improvement is one hell of an overclock…

ColeSloth,

Just toss it back out in the ocean or make lots of jerky.

ColeSloth,

There’s already different classes of BT. The common class used for most that is the 30 feet, another that’s around 5 feet, and one that’s like 200 feet.

But all of the claims seem farfetched. The range, power, and latency? Like they suddenly came up with all new tech that decimates BT that astoundingly? All while they’re trying to BS themselves around about the tech ban not harming them?

ColeSloth,

It’s not even an “idea”. They legally have to do whatever they can to make it go up. It’s idiotic and poisonous.

ColeSloth,

Plot twist. You get two left shoes or two right shoes. You have to buy a left one and a right one to get a working pair of shoes and end up with two pairs of the same shoes.

ColeSloth,

For work boots, no. For fashion it would kinda suck.

ColeSloth,

I want the power up to prevent this same question that’s been posted 10,000 different times in 500 different ways to ever be posted again.

ColeSloth,

That was pretty underwhelming. I had hopes that something actually good was released.
