I’ve been playing Project Zomboid and Farming Simulator 22 with my friends. Both great games, Zomboid is a hard game, until you start grasping all the mechanics, then it becomes a game of how long you will survive instead of surviving your first 2-3 days :)

and Farming Simulator is my drinking game, the game is chill, you get on discord with some friends and you can talk about anything and everything, cause you’re mostly driving in straight line. Pop open a beer and enjoy (keep going in straight lines)

I grabbed it for the couch co-op, which we really enjoyed in the first one. But in ftk2 every controller can control every character, which feels weird. Also playing with the controller feels more clunky than the original.

Yep, I really enjoyed DRG:S, brings a bit of new mechanics to the “survivore genre” and the upgrades are pretty cool.

I tried the demo of American Arcadia, it’s a story driven side scrolling game, with some nice twist to it. The Demo can be finished in like 30 minutes, totally worth trying it.

what an horrible selection

I mean ubisoft had the problem with all their games. Wait a year before buying a ubi game. It will be fixed and half price

Seedling looks really cool.

Is building a PC to stream to a handheld a bad idea?

I’ve always wanted to build a little PC, but I don’t have space or time to play games other than on a handheld on the sofa. I’ve been playing Xbox Game Pass on my Retroid Pocket 3 Plus and it’s been really good, but I’m wondering if a gaming pc streamed locally would be cheaper in the long run. It’d live under the TV...

get both and stream to the steamdeck, getting like 12h of battery instead

People complaining about planets not having anything fun to do have never played Elite Dangerous.

Just the fact you’re exploring a new planet, to me is a cool feeling.

I mean, I never thought ED boring, I kind of enjoyed seeing new planets.

I joined an expedition of 2 no ths out in the black, exploring out there. Enjoyed all of it.

To me this expansion was one of my favorite to date.

People keep complaining about asset reuse, but you know what they made it for inside the story. Map 1 are fractals, so slices of history brought back.

No new mechanic? But making map traversal use the skyscale, and using all the tools available to the skyscale is pretty new.

But to me it’s the story. I felt I connected more to the characters in this expansion than the others. They gave them a purpose some backstory, and if you were scared of reading there was plenty to learn from all the books and journal lying around.

I was super excited for this game, and after watching that gameplay video, removed it from my wishlist. Was really hoping for a good moria survival game, but all the mechanics in this video look subpar.

Ben slowly making my way through the story, and I’ve really been enjoying everything I’ve seen. Still in the first map. The map itself is really great, and why the map is the way it is, story wise is also impressive.

Still better than the labs guy who just sounded like a robot

Been playing this game a lot recently. I know this feeling.

Is legends as good as the original? The original was truly a game you had to try out. Loved all the puzzles in that game.

For me, I always come back to multiplayer survival games.

I just love the building up from nothing with friends.

I read the title and thought it was a LOTR place :P

isn’t that why he used >= so when it’s equal to 1.0 it’s done

So these new activities will be available to players without the expansion right? they just won’t have the bonus of closing the rift for extra rewards?

BreadGar,
@BreadGar@lemmy.ca avatar

That’s pretty much like the early unreal games that were all green/brown in color

Reading all of this, and how “big” they made Zoija’s story. Seems to prove the rumours that Felicia didn’t want to come just for a small part.

BreadGar,
@BreadGar@lemmy.ca avatar

Yeah wait a year after release before even touching it

BreadGar,

I mean they made a movie…

That’s some pretty cool tech right there!
