I see a lot of hype about being able to pet dogs in video games. Why?

As much as I’d love to completely get rid of Google/Apple apps, it’s not always possible. My main concern is that I am sometimes required to use two factor authentication apps such as my banking app for example....

Lemmy is definitely different from how mailing lists work in practice - much faster to get updates on, more ergonomic, etc., but in theory - could SMTP, IMAP, and a bit of ingenuity be used to turn a mailing list into a Lemmy-like interface for comments, links, etc?...

Title, everything i found online or didn't play or had this super annoying thing of having playlists without track chosing available....

Possibly only surpassed by a healthy battleboarding or general martial arts community. Those are headaches galore, I’m sure....

Just updated to Gnucash 5.2 (via flatpak) and found I can’t save the account file anywhere. It appears to be an issue with 5.2. Solution: Turn off file compression in Gnucash (Edit/Preferences/General uncheck ‘Compress Files’)

I've been watching Superman & Lois which is recently airing, but I'm a few episodes behind and can't seem to find a good source for new episodes. The last 3 episodes I see as released on June 14, 21, and 28 (upcoming) so I assume that I should see streams for the first two - or is this normal?...

I found two apps that seem to be violating the AGPL license. They both use the AGPL-licensed lemmy-js-client library, which means the apps themselves should also use the same license (which is the whole purpose of Copyleft). But they aren’t.
