In Canada they don’t have a “no tip” option any more, instead you have to click $ or % and put in 0. So what I do is I type in 0000 so they hear four inputs and think they’re getting at least 10$ even though i’m not tipping at all.
I found that the following helped: by never turning it off it just continues where it left off last time it was used. This assumes power is independent of TV.
Useful Settings This ADB command kills the sleep timer:
adb shell settings put secure sleep_timeout 0 and this ADB command kills the screensaver:

Both are the right target. Sony has 0 problem with this. They’re not some victim in this only working with this model of digital distribution because they were strong-armed. Sony doesn’t really give a shit that we don’t own the things we buy
I’m playing Station to Station, Cyberpunk, and Miles Morales currently. I’ve noticed when I stream from my main rig to the Deck the colors are drastically different from both what the game looks like natively on the SD and my rig’s own monitor. I’m curious as to what gives, and how/where to fix it....
Steaming in my experience significantly degrades colors. Idk if it drops to 4:2:0 or what, but it definitely doesn’t look as good as 4:4:4 that I have when directly connected. This may not be relevant to your situation, but it’s what came to mind reading your post.
Also, typically, you handle color calibration in the monitors settings, not the OS.
I sort of solved this part of it, or at least got it to compile. I’ve got a reddit post of this too! Someone there hinted that I should use another struct ‘above’ ZkNoteStream. I’m doing that in the code listing below.
ZnsMaker has an init() fn, then you call make_stream() and it returns a ZkNoteStream. The intent is ZnsMaker should be managed so it lasts as long as the ZkNoteStream needs to last. All this bit compiles, great! But when I go to use it in my actix handler, I get a borrowing problem there instead. So I may have just kicked the can down the road.
This part compiles. Wrong types still, should produce Bytes instead of ZkListNotes.
Ok and here’s the handler function where I receive a query and make the ZnsMaker. But if I create a ZkNoteStream with it, I get a borrowing error. Maybe it would be ok if I immediately consumed it in an HttpResponse::Ok().streaming(znsstream). Got to fix the types first though.

Bluetooth audio is my least favorite part of using Linux and it seems like my coworkers agree. I hear a lot of praise for pipewire, but it doesn’t match what I experience. Does any system work well for anyone?...
The footage at 0:31 seems so surreal: The whole thing plays out like an Airsoft game, where a player was tagged and exiting match… It’s hard to fathom that the bullets are real in that footage. What might’ve happened in that particular scenario? How would a soldier actually be captured?
At 1:28, is that solder just spraying and praying in the direction of the incoming fire?
Also, are some of the rounds explosive tipped or just visibly fragmenting on impact?
I’m getting really tired of my food expiring before I make anything with it, and I want to quit buying anything that can’t be frozen or last several months in the cupboard.
I am fully aware that I am making a really stupid argument here
Let’s agree on that.
No, seriously: 1 (1/0) feels like no one cared, but 1 (10/9) and 0 (10/10) both feel equaly controversial. That’s why I like that lemmy shows both ups und downs and not only the result.
When I turn on my headphones, my oled deck turns on. Neat, but unwanted when I’m using my headphones for other things, like my zoom meeting for work causing Dave the Diver sounds to come out of my headphones. How can I turn that off without disabling Bluetooth every time I put the deck to sleep?
I do not see a BT device in lspci, and the Network Adapter PCI address doesn’t show i /proc/acpi/wakeup,
I tried to create a systemd unit file that would issue an rfkill on bluetooth on suspend, and then re-enable it on resume, but that didn’t work either. Interestingly, if I do systemctl stop bluetooth the bluetooth service stops, and then immediate starts again!

No matter how often you say this and deny reality, I can at any given day look up the daily story of how polls shows another 0,1% increase for this party and another loss of 0.05% for that party compared to the last poll about 3 days ago for a fictional election actually happening in 2 years. Complete with pages of text how it's all X's fault for policy Y that was actually never discussed and was only mentioned by some backbencher in a Tweet (bonus points when it's a pure invention of some opposition politician). That's the reality. A reality I see every day.
A reality of total media failure using polls as a pretense to give their narrative the seeming of plausibility.
And this reality doesn't change because you don't want it to exist for your point to be true.
