We were invited friends house for dinner last night. My wife brought potato salad. I like lots of eggs in my potato salad. We had a couple of dozen duck what in the fridge so my wife boiled up a dozen and added them. It’s about half by volume hard boiled duck eggs and it’s delicious.
Easily one of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Super crunchy, and such a generous portion, too.

On Friday we got our annual treat: half a lamb from a farm near us. We made rosemary, chilli and garlic butter, roast potatoes, cavolo nero, cauliflower and carrots with lamb chops. The chops are as fresh and tasty as can be, simply great!
Beef(not pelican), cheese, ham, bacon, egg, and, grilled onions....
My wife made steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes to round things out. I thought my grill marks looked pretty great.
