Hey guys! Its lovely to see this community is active on lemmy, keep it up!...
I’ve recently returned to the hobby, after some lifestyle changes brought on by the pandemic. It’s been a lot of fun catching up on the latest developments, like the emergence of Bambu, etc. My printer is an Ender 3 from Sainsmart, bought in late 2019. I’m guessing it’s one of the earliest hardware revisions. I printed a...
I shared a video of the problem, it’s hard to describe with words. Can you help me solve it?

I’m curious if anyone uses sandblasting for cleaning up their prints. If not, what’s your favorite way to clean them up?
So as title says I revived my beloved iPod, upgraded its storage and also modeled and printed some accessories for my iPod. I made a TPU case, a dock using the original cable and a storage box....
3d printed threads and snap connectors are nice, but M3 bolts and nuts are more robust and look dope. They also make the model easier todesign print, since you don’t have to worry about tolerances as much....
I am looking to buy a 3D printer which will be used in my small business size of about 20 people. We sometimes need little parts made for holding littles pieces of equipment and after seeing a similar lab to us use 3D Printing to make little holders for their antennas, we are looking at buying one ourselves....

It still prints great, but damn is it not that pretty anymore...

I’ve been using Cura as a slicer for my Anycubic Kobra since I got it a few months ago. After a few weeks I discovered octoprint which was amazing as it let me start and monitor print jobs whilst out and about....
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them, got one, etc....

I understand the intent, but feel that there are so many other loopholes that put much worse weapons on the street than a printer. Besides, my prints can barely sustain normal use, much less a bullet being fired from them. I would think that this is more of a risk to the person holding the gun than who it’s pointing at.

Any most have upgrades for a mostly stock Ender 3 running on a 8-bit board with an original bed? Changed out bed springs and tube already.
Best I can tell, my z-seam after a hop is under extruding? I tried looking at all3dp’s troubleshooting page, but couldn’t find this specific issue. Can someone fill me in on the name of this so I can best Google it? I’d also be happy to take pointers, but I do try to be self sufficient.
