First time printing with TPU. Another problem I had was that it didn’t stick to the textured print bed, had to go for smooth PEI which I read (and now can confirm) is not ideal. Would satin be better?
Im very new to 3d printing and this is my first time using anything other than pla. So far all of my prints are lifting off the bed at the corners. They start off looking beautiful. No stringing, great adhesion, etc. But after a few layers, they start to come off. Especially on larger prints....
I’m a 3D printing wanna-be, not even an amateur. Have seen a few printers, helped assemble one long time ago, played with the software a little, though I have never actually printed anything myself yet. I decided to spend some saved money on a printer for myself....
Hello, I’m a total beginner in 3d printing and I want to get into 3d printing for the sake of building small engineering projects. Considering this I probably won’t need a printer with alot of fine detail like for example small sized textures (I think). So would it make sense for me to just go for the cheapest one that...
My Prusa MK4 kit just arrived and I’m looking forward to seeing how assembly differs from the MK3s. I’m not going to have a chance to work on it until Friday though.
I have a question, I revently found a old 3d printer in my brothers basement, apparently its a “nophead mendel 90” that he built years ago but then lost interest in....
I’ve been getting some problem layers with this filament, especially on flat pieces like this. The first layer is always good, but flat layers (top and bottom) that are not on the bed are not great, like the filament is sagging and not connecting to the lines next to it, regardless of if they are supported or not. This one was...
My wife is a phlebotomist. She requested a way to strap the blood tubes on her arm and this is what I came up with. She used it for the first time last night and was in love with it.
I am happy with the result. There is a black line accross the badge due to the head going through it, but I removed it by sanding it. Maybe I should play with the z-hop setting.
I wanted to place this filament dryer I got myself recently directly above my printer. So I designed and printed this shelf. It prints in parts to get as strong as possible and can be assembled using M3 screws. If you are interested, files are available here for free:...
I’ve always contemplated designing my own printer but I didn’t know how to until I learned CAD, was quite the journey and I learned a lot (still a lot to learn) but I had a lot of fun designing it!
Hello fellow withprinters. Whats happening here? Stringing is not the problem, if i print string tests, they are good. Its only in holes, the walls wont stick. Any suggestions for a fix?...
I have an Ender 5 Plus with some upgrades (“Old” MicroSwiss Direct Drive, Exoslide XY, custom shroud) and I occasionally have the issue in which the Cables for the Print head as well as the Filament Feeding Tube interfere or get caught on something on the printer....
Made sure the stock firmware printed the example gcode that came on the SD card and then immediately embarked on my journey to get klipper running on this guy....
OK (I’m the same guy who posted with the petg not sticking) Before Yesterday I bought overture petg and I was deceived because I had all kinds 1f issues… But then I tried to put the bed at 90C and the nozzle at like 280 ant it worked… How come i have to print this hot 🔥?
