“I’m sure all these people sacrificing goats to the gods haven’t seen their prayers answered all the time and are wrong - can’t you see how successful the Greeks and the Romans are, you idiot? /s” << you are this kind of person.
“Multiple countries” that “have a fixation” - therefore it can’t be - hahahaha!
Are you against scientific evidence?
I gave multiple sources, you gave arguments from incredulity, popularity, and your personal perception of reputation of whole countries - collectively.

One of the big winners of the Unity debacle is the free and open source Godot Engine, which has seen its funding soar to a much more impressive level as Unity basically gave them free advertising.
I used Plex for my home media for almost a year, then it stopped playing nice for reasons I gave up on diagnosing. While looking at alternatives, I found Jellyfin which is much more responsive, IMO, and the UI is much nicer as well....
Hm… I’ve never seen it do that to me (on Windows with multi GB mail storage).
Though I think there is a setting to auto compress the mail storage every so often if it will save more than X, though I can’t remember the details on top of my head. If that setting is too low (e.g. if it will save more than 1mb) then it might be running very often for minimal gain.
Perhaps rummage around in there and see if it helps.

They’re in it to get their enemies: those city folks not going to be so smug when they have a dictator running their lives are they? Look at them run with the abortion ban, imagine how funny they’ll look when the police are bashing their heads in. Making us look stupid all those years, I’ll show them who’s boss.
And since you won’t be able to modify web pages, it will also mean the end of customization, either for looks (ie. DarkReader, Stylus), conveniance (ie. Tampermonkey) or accessibility....
Just ask them how come you can find plenty of swastikas at Trump rallies, plenty of merchants selling them too, but none of either at Democratic rallies?

Finally why is the person you’re talking to aligning themselves with communist sympathisers?
“That’s according to a Monday report from The Wall Street Journal. Given Musk purchased Twitter for $44 billion late last year, the markdown would put the company’s current valuation at about $23 billion, based on Ark’s estimate.”
$23b is what it was actually valued before Musk crazily overpaid for it and took over.
Now, that estimate comes from an investor that financed part of that purchase (so they’re already suspect for paying double the odds back then) that still thinks there’s a great future ahead for Twitter under Musk - so it’s wildly optimistic.
The real value you could find someone paying for it would be more likely in the mid single digits.

Search for hashtags then add them to your follows, that will show you any post with those hashtags, from there you can follow people that seem to interest you.
I was there the first time. It feels different now - people are contributing and having discussions. Certainly a better quality of discourse than any other social media I’ve used.
Would be nice if there was a way for posts to be flagged such that memes and shitposts and more serious discussions could be separated, so you could filter depending on mood.
