If I can take a guess I would say that anxiety is like hunger, it’s the absence of self-confidence. Anxiety doesn’t have to be removed but confidence increased.

To me trauma is a forced decision where you have to deny yourself. Then the anxiety comes from the expectation that the self will be denied again.

If this is slightly correct then an increase in the sustainability of the self should reduce anxiety.

I am out of my depth to add anything meaningful. I personally believe that the human experience is universal. E. g. soldiers suffer on both sides of all wars. For sure it is more difficult to gain trust and openness if there are cultural differences. But the emotional conflicts that come with war will be the same.

That was at times of DES. Cryptography that is used today is proven to be complicated enough that it’s unbreakable unless the government got quantum computing working at sufficient skale.

Like others wrote, attacks will happen when the messages are received and decrypted.
