I don’t know anyone in real life, myself included, that has had success claiming this deal. As of this moment, it says free until I go to my shopping cart where it is $29.99
Aveum’s sales would have been better if the game was more interesting. It’s around the level of Hogwarts Legacy without the built in fanbase. Utterly forgettable.
Same. I wasn’t even an hour in. I was fucking around on some rocks and died from a ten foot drop. Early gameplay before getting some skills was kinda meh too. I didn’t come back for almost a year.
This reminded me of a scene from Talledega Nights.
Lucius Washington : You’re not gonna live forever.
Ricky Bobby : No one lives forever, no one. But with advances in modern science and my high level income, it’s not crazy to think I can live to be 245, maybe 300. Heck, I just read in the newspaper that they put a pig heart in some guy from Russia. Do you know what that means?
Lucius Washington : No, I don’t know what that means. I guess longer life.
Ricky Bobby : No, he didn’t live. It’s just exciting that we’re trying things like that.
I feel like the only “they” that’s ever said this was people making and selling consoles. It’s propaganda and articles like this do more to propagate it than combat it. Stop it.
Looking for those games that you may have heard about but never tried until you got a Deck. Or old games on systems you never had that you’re trying for the first time. So to my immense joy, Hexbear has started appearing on the front page again. Instance blocking is not available, and even the regular block feature sometimes fails (on certain communities?) for no clear reason. I've already tried blocking their "DuNk tAnK" and politics sub, it errors in a way that doesn't seem to happen...
I think one of the key points of parent-offspring relationships is modeling. I didn’t have great parents and after some early struggles, I have learned what NOT to do. I try to shun violence, judgement, cruelty, substance abuse, etc for empathy, open communication, understanding, and friendship.
I have only been on the fediverse for a month but I’m pretty sure I could start my own software engineering company on the pc I just built (Linux OS, of course).
It’s not even receding, just looking like it, which has been the case my entire life, which makes me feel ugly and masculine, especially if people comment on it, because I otherwise look cute, but my endless wisdom requires too much forehead planes, I suppose. 😩
My biggest concern with “AI” is people trusting it. It seems to be wrong a lot and people are misinformed enough already. I don’t think this is solved by people owning the means of production.
She refused to ban books, many of them about racism and the experiences of LGBTQ+ people. And for that, Suzette Baker was fired as a library director in a rural county in central Texas....
And then it cost taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars bc of the settlements. They’re wrong and they know they’re wrong. They just don’t care what it costs as long as they can continue lying and riling up their base while simultaneously keeping them ignorant.
