This is going to be really atypical: smoke cigars.

I never really smoked cigarettes so I never had an addiction with them. But I do like cigars. I smoke them occasionally, as do most people with few exceptions. I’ve heard, though, from some former cigarette smokers that switching to cigars helped them mostly painlessly stop their addiction to constantly smoking cigarettes by instead just having an occasional, even maybe weekly, cigar. Cigars may be more intense but also don’t have all the chemicals and crap that some cigarettes have, and cigars even intentionally remove some of the chemicals that cigarettes may add, like ammonia.

GTA 4 was still solid, in my opinion. It’s a way better game than 5.

I’m looking forward to 6. I’m hoping 5 was a minor blip sandwiched between great games, like GTA 2. I never play online but I hope this game is truly on par with Vice City in quality.

I can see that, too. It is smaller but I liked the return to Liberty City but in a new and improved engine. It was fun and had the kind of classy setting I liked from driving around at night in GTA 3 to classical music.

GTA 5 really disappointed me because that was the actual spiritual sequel to San Andreas. 5 had one large city but the rest was rural areas and small rundown towns. It made it feel way smaller than San Andreas’ three cities to me. I still prefer San Andreas to 5.

I’ve used VeraCrypt successfully to encrypt volumes/folders.

It’s worked great for me, although I recently started encountering issues accessing files but it seems the problem is with my external and not with the encryption method. Hopefully I can recover those files someday. Backup your backups and then backup again.

But, no, I didn’t read it. I usually read articles but I was busy at the moment and even if I weren’t busy I probably wouldn’t waste my time reading some statement the IDF put out because it is far more likely to be lies and settler propaganda than truth.

Although this still strikes me as an alarmist, al-Qaeda-is-hiding-in-Moria exaggeration/lie to justify their indiscriminate bombing campaign now that more people are questioning their obvious lies about not having bombed that hospital.

Hi, hope I can ask here. I’ve been using vlc for android as my music player but it really struggles after 5k local songs surprisingly so I’m looking for an alternative. The main problem I have is that after switching to the user account that has my local media, vlc refreshes and clears my playlist and I’m at the point...

First of all, what’s up with this title? I thought Zelensky fucking died.

But the media was recently critical of Nazis in Ukraine until the current invasion. That includes BBC, Reuters, Guardian, and Telegraph just to name a few. Now they all pretend like it’s fake news, Russian propaganda. Haha

And, as far as I know, Ukraine only started seeking NATO membership after the 2014 US-backed coup. (They first applied in 2008.) So, I don’t know if Ukraine, like the Scandinavian countries, didn’t actually have popular support to join NATO pre-2022 but it’d make sense if public opinion has now shifted.

But I have to take back what I said, Ukraine started seeking NATO membership as early as 2008. Although it does seem that they started seeking NATO as a priority after Euromaidan.

My point was that it’s doubtful to say they exercised their right as a country to freely decide whether to join NATO, especially if there was no major popular demand for it at the time, I’m sure it’s just coincidental that they sought NATO as a priority after a US-backed coup.

I agree. This study aside, I think EV is still really, incredibly shitty for working class people who can’t afford it or for tenants who don’t have plugs at home and need to sit at some WholeFoods or whatever like idiots to charge up.

And I agree about mileage. If I had to drive across country, where there may not even be any charging stations available, I would not do it in an EV.

I’m still torn on whether I should even get a hybrid. I hear those batteries are like ~$10k to replace and that’s after paying more upfront.
