I think they’re expecting thunderbird users to use POP instead of imap, Gmail integration, OWA, or other protocol that expects the mail to stay on the server.
Leaving the mail on the server has been great in Thunderbird since the Mozilla days. I did jump to Gmail web app a long time ago though. I’m assuming Gmail support has improved in the last 15 years?
Also on Fi, but that is just T-Mobile. My connection has been great. Battery life is good. I don’t mind the slow charging and intentionally plug into an even lower power charger to hopefully extend the longevity of the battery.
My wife’s experience is closer to OP’s though. She’s had problems like that on most phones when I don’t even though we often have the same model. I think it is something to do with the games she installs.
Before the Android 14 update, we had 5G turned off. It seems the update to the radio firmware has fixed the battery drain problems.
I’m looking for a watch that can track my heart rate, stay on my tiny wrist, and that doesn’t cost a lot only to break frequently. Fitbit is….no longer meeting that criteria and was honestly out of my budget to begin with, but i am nervous about spending money again on something random that could also break just as...
A Starfield remake, of sorts, has been created in 48 hours, incorporating seamless travel between planets, something missing from the actual Bethesda RPG.
I’ve been using it for a long time and haven’t needed to do anything with family link.
There is no passcode, but it does support daily timers per app. I haven’t used that in a while, but do use focus mode to disable apps during work hours.
Maybe these features are still only in the beta version even after years of being in beta.
“With the release of Windows 10 21H2, Windows offers inbox support for Mopria compliant printer devices over network and USB interfaces via the Microsoft IPP Class Driver. This removes the need for print device manufacturers to provide their own installers, drivers, utilities, and so on. Device experience customization is now...
The device manufacturers have to send the driver to Microsoft to get them signed. Windows needs some sort of drivers available out of the box. Might as well keep them up to date with the signed versions.
It’s been this way for some device types for at least 20 years.
EDIT: So after all that, I was able to reinstall windows and download Macrium reflect + my backup. First time I tried to recover it, it failed for some reason, but the second time around I was able to restore it successfully. I’m now back where I started, thank you everyone!...
Is the windows partition is still there? You may be able to use one of the repair options from the install media to re-add windows to EFI instead of a full reinstall.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people talking about how their android phones are rooted here. I’m very fed up with all the bloatware on my phone and I want to de-Google my life so I’m very interested in rooting my own phone....
Others mentioned, but I wanted to point this out more specifically. Each phone model is unique and will require a different ROM. Generic instructions won’t work. Sometimes different ROMs are even need for carrier specific versions of the same model.
hey all. I’ve tried different ram, a different windows version, I’ve messed around in bios and updated it as well. How can i get my pc to register the rest of my ram??...
This sounds like a problem we had back in the 32bit days. Video memory from the GPU is mapped into the normal memory space. Systems with 4GB could never use all of it because of that.
This still happens with 64bit systems, but the address space is so big the video memory doesn’t overlap with system memory addresses anymore.
I think there is a BIOS setting to force that mapping into back into the first part of addresses. Might want to find that setting and make sure it is off.
In the very late 90s or early 2000s there was a leaked “October papers” or something like that. It detailed Microsoft’s plan to move to Windows as a service. It seems like it is taking longer than they thought, but they’ve been moving this way for a long time.
