Sorry for a dumb title. I’m considering two versions of Thinkpad Z13 - one with 3k OLED and another with FHD IPS panel. The first one has obviously a better display quality and gamut range but version with IPS will provide more battery life....
Thanks. Looking at Notebookcheck reports it seems that in idle OLED uses twice as much power (5W vs 2.5W). For normal browsing experience it’s almost nothing but for light terminal usage it will make a difference in battery life.
OLED screen indeed sounds to be a pleasure to the eyes but that 10h+ battery life is equally tempting.
Is OLED burn-in still a thing? Most UIs use some kind of a permanent dock, taskbar or a bar of some sorts
The biggest advantage of New Vegas over F3/F4 is that it had actual meaningful quests with multiple paths of resolution. I’m not sure if there’s audience for fetch quests in Mojave but YMMV
Because I can actually observe my adopted cat loving me more with every passing month. We’re learning each other, he communicates with me and gets closer and closer. For the first year he didn’t even think about cuddling but now he’s on my laps everyday. It’s really nice to feel him liking me more and more so I like him back as well. It’s a very positive circle of affection.
My perspective is that it’s there so it shows up on search results for “installing Linux” and recommends WSL over bare metal. At least that’s how I understand the wording.

I don’t know how to start with spending nights in the woods. I love trekking and hiking, have tons of gear (even too much l would say) but I never have slept in a tent. Not sure how should I prepare, how to pack, what do I need, what can I do on the go. If anyone has any recommendations I would gladly accept them.
Thank you. I wasn’t expecting such a long a detailed response, I really appreciate it.
I am from Poland and there is a program called “sleep in the woods”. There is a map of forests in which you may camp without a permit. Most of them don’t officially allow fires (it says the place needs be designated for fireplace). Do you think that is a problem? Do you recommend skipping lighting a fire entirely or to search for a legal place? Or maybe just do it quietly.
I don’t have a tent yet but I own a nice hammock. I love it, it’s a staple during my trekks and hikes to rest a little bit it a nice view. What do you think about it instead of sleeping in a tent for a first-timer? I know it needs additional insulation.
I waa thinking of staying in a forest near the road for my first night. There’s a very nice area of birch wood. If anything goes wrong I could get into my car in half an hour. Does that sound good enough?
Lots of good advice here. I really feel I know how to start now. I will sleep solo so maybe that’s why I’m more afraid (unfortunately I don’t know other interested in such activities). I will make a checklist out of your post and get back to you if you want in couple of weeks.

With Ventoy, you don’t need to format the disk over and over to create a bootable USB for different images, you just need to copy the image files to the USB drive and boot them directly via a dynamic menu....
The best thing for me is that you can buy a battery for it on their site with instructions how to do the replacement. Nothing is glued together according to the manual (which probably makes it mory clunky than Surface but oh well). Coreboot is an icing on the cake.
It’s a free update to a beloved game from 25 years ago and a first release to third most selling platform in the world for a price of a burger. If that’s a cash grab I want more of these.
