A GTA show COULD be absolutely amazing. Each season could be one of the main missions from the game, they could release missions when the season starts. The GTA5 characters look similar to their real life persons, they can probably act. It would be super cool to have them in the show as well.
The amount of people who would do that, like you, me and possibly most of the Lemmy users, are so small that the good PR is worth it. Guaranteed, if there’s a mass exodus those options will disappear.
