With WWIII ramping up in the East, I wonder if there is something else that this fiasco is covering for. For sure, the genocide of the Palestinians is a great distraction from the impending housing market/economic collapse we are all sure to witness (my opinion) and the return of student loans, and the repeal of all the COVID assistance but what else might the bourgeoisie be up to in the US?
Is it really just that this is the end of this empire and that Oct 7th provides the excuse needed to wage a war that the bourgeoisie needs to maintain it’s rate of profit?
I heard someone mention that the conflicts in Ukraine, Palestine, Taiwan, as well as some dubious movements in Myanmar and Thailand, are the formation of a new sort of Iron Curtain built by the west to keep China’s market acquisitions at bay. It could just also be the frontline of a new war. Maybe I’m thinking about it too much.
Dude. IDK. I haven’t had the balls to try it. I have met one person who bought weed regularly from it but IDK how you go about making a contact or anything. Maybe that’s what the Dark Web is for nowadays.
This has been my perception all along. I don’t really get how anybody thought Ukraine could win. In expressing this opinion, you’re labeled as a Putin puppet. You don’t have to be pro-Russia to say that they are winning.
I’m hopeful that the war comes to a close soon though.
With the US having given so much hardware to Ukraine, I imagine that Israel is on its own. If this effort is sustained, I wonder what the US will do, especially if Israel asks for help. Intervention by the US could trigger other countries into action. Or they wouldn’t do shit, iunno.
Hopefully Palestine is able to get out from under the boot with this one.
Is that why I do that? I constantly work with headphones on and try to read with talk in the background. So weird. Am i doing it to escape or is it because of rampant adhd or both?

Read the article in my above comment. it could throw Europe into another ice age, and cause mass starvation. Not to mention the AMOC feeds plankton which is the basis for all of sea life food-webs and so the ripples of this could be very very vast.

Then he will be like “I need $100billion to develop this everything-app that will be made compulsory by the state” or something. And the government wil just give it to him.
For me it is the fact that our blood contains iron. I earlier used to believe the word stood for some ‘organic element’ since I couldn’t accept we had metal flowing through our supposed carbon-based bodies, till I realized that is where the taste and smell of blood comes from.
You have it backwards . The water is an input to the agriculture meaning the fact that the capitalist system sees sees it as an externality gives it immense exchange value which promotes exploitation of the aquifer for profits. The point of capitalism is to reap profits and if you still think the market is an efficient way of allocating resources, you have a current housing crisis, military industrial complex, multiple water crises and climate change to read up on.
One of the many points of socialism is to allocate resources based on need. Declaring unsustainable jobs as a feature of socialism is incredibly ignorant considering our current paradigm of the gig economy, decaying infrastructure, wealth disparity, perpetual subsidies to fossil fuels, and war.
I would like to hear an actual explanation. I don’t know shit about light physics but my attempt to explain it is that the trajectory of the light is such that it reflects off of the egg into your eyes and that it is this trajectory that is reflected in the mirror.

I think Russia is doing well, militarily. Even on lemmygrad, there is still a lot of de facto support for Ukraine/US.
We should all remember that this is an inter imperialist conflict and par for the course that is capitalism. No matter what happens in this war, the working class loses.
