I disagree. Lemmy is a very small group of individuals and these type of threads are going to have similar minded people finding eachother. In the grand scheme of things we are next to nothing in scale of the billions of people on this planet.
Idk what it’s called but my wife makes this chicken and pasta that uses parm garlic sauce and its 10/10. I know my issue is we make it then I over eat it which results in me hating it for a while and then the cycle repeats
Nah, the chicken is slow cooked with the parm garlic sauce, cream cheese, some other kind of cheese, then some rigatoni. She adds a few other things as well.

Exactly plus they’re more likely to know and hear things about products. What tradesmen hasn’t stopped and talked a person ear off about their go to stuff and why it is. There’s plenty of tradesmen who know less than the person at the store as well.

No it isn’t. They’re trying to make it a place to ask genuine question not to just goof off with silly things. They’re just defining it a little more which is absolutely necessary.
Money. I hate how I have to choose between being home with my family or working so we have a home. I don’t mind working to pay for my life choices but working 4 full time jobs between two people just to make ends meet is insane. We even make more than the average at each job. I don’t waste money either I have no more fat to trim I work and sleep there’s a few times I can wave at my kid or wife. If I’m ever left alone long enough I’ll probably end up collapsing at this point

Ok so before I say the name I want to explain the story. I was 6 or 7 when my aunt and her friends brought it home and they were insistent I could not watch this movie but I snuck into the living room and eventually sat with my aunt. It took 1 scene to send me into such a panic I to this day can’t sleep for days after I willingly watch it. This movie warped my sense of horror and not a single movie has lived up to it. The movie is the exorcist from 1973 and the 1 scene was the bedroom scene where the bed starts moving and her body begins to change.
I dont get how that blows your mind. Families typically dont have the time to jump through loops so they pretty much have to pay for some kind of streaming service. I use to sail the seas all the time but between work, family, and trying to find time to myself there’s no time.

Aggressive marketing is killing the love for gaming. There’s nothing that can be done to off set the whales and that’s so disheartening. Games have become a part of the day to day stress with needing daily log ins for rewards or to buy an overpriced subscription to play with friends. The fact single play games dwindle down more and more everyday is why I moved to PS just so I can enjoy them with games like Spiderman
2y is really not that old and they have had a track record with those comments starting from over on reddit which resulted in a ban and them developing this website. The plans for this site came from being so out spoken about it. Your point would be valid if they hadn’t said anything and showed to be actively correcting themselves for those last two years.
Our library hosts lounge night and a game night. Lounge night is lofi music and people enjoying themselves with games, movies, books, larping, and writers sharing. Poetry night and writers block aren’t personally my favorite but there’s those as well.

Batman Arkam asylum was such a leap forward in super hero fighting games I remember replaying the demo non stop until the game was released
Spider man (2018) really took ahold of that fighting fluidity that arkam asylum introduced and enhanced it with a nimble character and a great story line that was engaging and trophies that were fun to go after.

A friend’s friend was hanging out with our group for the first time and he was super chill but the way he spoke just seemed really off and I couldn’t explain it. As we ended the night his friend was gonna take off by himself as my buddy wanted to chill for the night. The next morning the guys sister calls my buddy and tells him that her brother hung himself. I know logically i couldn’t have known but my gut told me he shouldn’t have been leaving without my buddy. No drugs or alcohol were involved that night we were all 100% sober…

I spent countless hours playing games and getting excited as hell with new launches or even just getting on. Nowadays I play maybe 1 or 2 games a year and If I actually finish them it’s very rare. I could blame a busy life but honestly there’s just no spark and I could speculate for hours why but truthfully I don’t know why.
