Jakeroxs,

Well this other article by IGN has some interesting things about it.

Basicay the devs lied about what the game would be and plagiarized their trailers almost word for word from other games.

Jakeroxs,

From everything I’ve heard, 76 is a lot better now, I am planning on playing it with a friend… Sometime… Ha

Jakeroxs,

A lot of people have hate boners for Bethesda and their games, I think it’s partially because of how popular they are, even with each game having many flaws in their design. It’s also likely some are older fans who played Morrowind and dislike the direction toward accessible/mainstream design as that comes at a cost of the more intricate/in-depth systems which means generally less customizability in how you can play the game.

Don’t get me wrong, Bethesda games can and do deserve to be critiqued, but a lot of people just go way overboard.

I put 177 hours into Starfield, and enjoyed it quite a bit, I have my own nitpicks and definitely just wish there was more content/things to do, but I know that because of the modding support, I’ll come back and play it over and over again for years to come. Just like I have with Skyrim (742 hrs on SSE alone, so not including my 360 gameplay way back when it first came out), Fallout 4 (951 hrs) and NV (which I’m currently replaying right now as I haven’t since it first came out).

Jakeroxs,

I prefer humanist over most other “-ists” as it’s more inclusive to all races/genders.

Jakeroxs,

Similar situation with some of the less popular Monty Python movies or sketches, while watching I’m just like, ok this is weird, then while you’re explaining it or talking to someone who knows you’re just cracking up…

My cats definitely need cuddles every day, they want to drink from the sink at least once a day, when I’m working at my desk they’ll sleep on my lap or stand in front of my monitors staring at me for attention, they’ll cry at the bedroom door.

Maybe they’re just needy because we’re very affectionate with them, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. https://sh.itjust.works/pictrs/image/f3480e82-e4ec-4da1-ba92-4db4a4e762e5.jpegAs I was writing this comment…

Jakeroxs,

Just wish they released any SP content

Jakeroxs,

I feel personally attacked

Jakeroxs,

It’s not even about style for me, my neck is just sensitive sometimes and the v style bothers me less usually.

Jakeroxs,

Right, it’s sad how nfts are just a joke now because of the worst possible execution of what an nft could do/be became a massive scam

Jakeroxs,

Do you seriously think we shouldn’t try to automate things as much as possible? Why keep jobs that no one really wants to do?

Jakeroxs,

I would bet people don’t want to do those jobs because they’re not really fulfilling or enjoyable to most.

Jakeroxs,

You seemingly don’t understand how an acquisition works

Jakeroxs,

That’s not how it works when major companies buy one another, it generally takes years for integration efforts wherein prior leadership and plans remain mostly unchanged for more then half that time.

Jakeroxs, (edited )

Some of that is intentional, it’s not new for pro-isreal lobby groups to smack the “antisemitic” label on any public figure who speaks out against the government of Israel, been going on for years.

Obviously actual nazis and antisemitic people suck and should be called out for their bullshit, but the powers that be have also made the problem worse by inaccurately throwing the label on people.

Jakeroxs,

If you’re a actively flying the flag of Israel that might be a good sign that you believe in what they’re doing lmao.

And vandalizing the flag itself certainly shouldn’t be viewed as antisemitic, I don’t condone violence against people of any race/nationality/idea unless in self defence but that’s usually on an individual level, you can’t take out what the government of Israel is doing out on people who happen to be Jewish.

Jakeroxs,

Yup, it works as a shield for any criticism for them.

Jakeroxs,

Are you sure you don’t crave the greenhouse gases a CEV produces?

Jakeroxs,

Some of us don’t really have the choice to not have a car, there’s virtually no public transportation where I live.

Jakeroxs,

Right lol

Jakeroxs,

It seemed like the introverts felt better and the extroverts felt worse, surprising I’m sure.

Jakeroxs,

If this were an aita thread, you might be labeled the asshole for reacting this way

Jakeroxs,

The first few iOS updates they tried to charge for as well

I remember because it was laughably easy to just go grab the package file online and “flash” it manually.

Jakeroxs,

You’re still saying anyone who supports Palestine is antisemitic

Jakeroxs,

You’re an idiot

Jakeroxs,

I took live in a red state, and went to the doctor a couple months back and they mentioned the new covid vaccine would be coming soon.

15 years of Android memories – When did you get your first Android phone? (blog.google)

My first one was a Samsung Galaxy S1 that I got in 2013 and it was a great little device that was easy to open up and repair. It had only 512MB of RAM but that was plenty for basic phone needs, web browsing and running some Android apps like AnkiDroid at the time.

Jakeroxs,

Droid 2, was a hand-me-down from a friend, had mostly used an iPod Touch before then.

Of course immediately rooted and rom’d because I knew about jailbreaking, thing was pretty nifty, especially for GBA emulation with the keyboard

Jakeroxs,

Right, like Facebook did the same shit years ago and it’s unlikely the headline would have looked like this, if it got one at all lol, definitely just rage baiting.

Jakeroxs,

Vivaldi gang, there are dozens of us

Jakeroxs,

Lol did you not see Starfield or Cities Skylines 2 comments? It’s hate circle jerks

Jakeroxs, (edited )

Just like how the US fudges the numbers on Inflation by redefining the “basket of goods” used for calculations

Edit here’s an interesting video about it for anyone who doesn’t believe me… youtu.be/1QAuROcA4mY?si=ab20iblc3BKrL0ZL

Jakeroxs,

It has to depend, I know some men take a long time to get ready too

Jakeroxs,

Thank you, a rational take here, everyone has their pitchforks out and aren’t thinking logically about how to deal with it aside from ridiculous things like “it should be illegal!”

It is definitely a tragedy and I feel for the family and friends, however we shouldn’t be jumping to banning it. That is how we end up with a nanny state, some things need to be regulated of course and in this instance it needs to be extremely clear to customers how much caffeine they’ll be injesting.

Jakeroxs,

Even banning alcoholic energy drinks seems a bit too far, I’m generally more in favor of regulating and making warnings for those who are able to handle such things to be able to still enjoy them, rather then banning them because some have preexisting conditions or aren’t able to moderate themselves.

Definitely fair though, I wouldn’t argue strongly against limiting alcohol access in general as we as a society have normalized basically alcoholism and abusing it. I’m not sure what the right answer is on that one :/ I just generally prefer freedom to a sane extent over banning certain things.

Jakeroxs,

That’s definitely a fair point!

Jakeroxs,

Lol vaush ain’t even communist in the least

Jakeroxs,

Why do we keep getting shit presidents in America?

Jakeroxs,

It is, you can hate the shit the government of Israel does without hating Jewish people, they’re not the same thing.

Jakeroxs,
Jakeroxs,

Yeah I had the same issue on that level, they definitely need to fix the marking of the NPC as an enemy immediately

Jakeroxs,

I’ve watched a few people play on YouTube and it doesn’t seem bad for most of them

Jakeroxs,

Car and backpack right? :p

Jakeroxs,

The problem with the way drugs is talked about in general is they’re all lumped together.

Weed is not going to be nearly as harmful or addictive as opiates for example, I can definitely empathize with people addicted to harder substances (including Alcohol IMO) and the definite harm it causes.

I just don’t like when weed or psychedelics are lumped in under the “drugs” banner and are treated just as addictive or harmful when they simply aren’t.

Not to mention I personally believe that most drugs should be legalized and regulated because the way we deal with them (criminally) causes so much more harm to the people stuck in addiction, much less likely to seek help out of fear.

The line I specifically didn’t like was when you said, “and can keep a job too!” As if people who use drugs recreationally can’t keep a job.
