Pacific Rim, such a great fun mechs vs monsters movie that had a gritty feeling to it. Not over the top fantastical bullshit with flips or garish colors, just solid, slow, huge mechs fighting solid, slowish, sea monsters.

How anyone gets any work done at all with a single monitor is beyond me, actually no, I know the answer is they don’t.

I’m an IT manager and have advocated for at least dual monitor at every workstation for a decade. Every time we’ve transitioned a department to dual we’ve seen significant productivity jumps well worth the $100 per station it costs.

IMO the game maker deserves a cut, after all they did make the base product the mod is for. Without the work of the game studio the mod wouldn’t exist.

At least 70% should go to the mod maker since they put in the effort to make the mod. Valve and the dev studio can split the 30%, valve deserves a cut as well since they’re maintaining the storage and delivery of these mods and presumably facilitating the financial transactions associated with these paid mods through their store. Storage and network usage isn’t free and neither are running CC transactions which people seem to forget.

Dragon’s dogma should be good for graphical testing, the original was beautiful for the time and the previews of the sequel look good already.
