Copenhagen, Denmark — Denmark’s Lego said on Monday that it remains committed to its quest to find sustainable materials to reduce carbon emissions, even after an experiment by the world’s largest toymaker to use recycled bottles did not work. I’ll give you my reasoning as someone who used to heavily use Wikis but now heads to YouTube:
As much as I hate the ads on YouTube, the ads on wikis actually make it harder to process and distill the information I’m searching for. YouTube will get there eventually too but for now it is the most efficient way to gather information.
I personally know some folks who spend all their money on fast food, and then online it seems pretty common folks not knowing how to cook causes massive financial problems....
You are simply not going to find rare and cheap in the same meal. The best you are going to do is remind people of food that they haven’t had in a while.
Or you can define uncommon as food that people generally don’t eat. Insects, for instance. While bugs are incredibly common, most people do not consume them in great numbers.
I’m not normally a chicken wing eater, but I hear about others liking them. Thought I’d get some at the store the other day, but they were $3.99 a pound while drumsticks were only $1.99 a pound....
From a culinary viewpoint, the ratio of protein, fat and crispy skin is perfect and you won’t find it elsewhere on a chicken. The large surface area to relatively small amount of edible meat means a high ratio of seasoning per bite.
I’ve been playing on Linux using Sklauncher for a while now, but it’s feeling more and more like a scam. Every time there’s an update to the launcher, the old one is immediately disabled. You can only get the new one from their ad riddled site, often with inappropriate ads, and it ‘can’t’ handle the traffic. The...
I’m going to hold out until the 17 rumors release. My 16 rumors are still holding up fine and I’m not experiencing any negative battery performance yet.
I gotta tell you guys, I’ve been a console gamer for four decades but I bought a Steam Deck last year. I have enjoyed the experience so much that I’m building a PC for gaming. It will be a Linux machine.
I’ve been trying to get my DnD group to get BG3 or Gloomhaven digital (while we wait for our copy of Gloomhaven 2.0 to ship next year) so we can play stuff in between tabletop sessions. Ravenswatch is what a couple of them joined in on. It’s the weakest of the games I’m currently playing but anything is more fun with friends.
I know this is typical for the US so this is more for US people to respond to. I wouldn’t say that it is the best system for work, just wondering about the disconnect.
Bingo. I quite like my job and my boss. Our agreement (his idea) is that if I do any work at home, I get paid overtime for it and I round up to the next hour no matter what.
I don’t go looking for work to do at home but if a client calls it doesn’t bother me a bit.

Game wikis just aren't as popular anymore?
Has anyone else noticed that Wikis for most games just aren’t as complete anymore?...
