You are being drawn in by Israeli propaganda. Look at more balanced news sources, or just a wider range. The ‘human shield’ myth is particularly awful as it’s being used to defend murdering innocent people.

I’m also old and have been following this conflict for decades but apparently more balanced sources.

Israel claimed that they were targeting Hamas at Al-Shifa but they positioned snipers who shot doctors and nurses through the windows. If you’re being forced to attack a hospital full of innocent civilians then you would be trying to avoid the innocent civilians, but that’s not what it’s about here.

Same as taking swathes of land since WW2, they are occupying massive areas that they were never given. They’re not ignorant, they know exactly what they’re doing.

If it’s something that you fancy, you could buy something small for a guinea pig rescue. Small animal rescues get less donations and adoptions but they work really hard. Maybe you can even volunteer with all your guinea pig knowledge from yours?

What are you seeing here? There’s a small shaft that looks a long way from the hospital, maybe a well, maybe a sewer, nothing to suggest it’s anything untoward. There’s some people walking through some buildings, then a map with writing on.

I have a friend who used to volunteer in Palestine. One of his jobs dealt with evictions. Basically if you’re a person anywhere in the world and you can go through historical documents and find a suggestion that your ancestors may have owned property in a certain place you can present that to Israel and they give the current residents, many who have owned their houses for multiple generations, some of whom have records of their relatives buying the land from the first family, 24 hours to leave.

There are troops of volunteers who will come down with a moving van and help you load your entire life in because there’s nothing else you can do.

It’s criminal.

I read an interview last week with some hospital staff. They had to avoid windows when treating patents as if seen the snipers would shoot them. Many staff were killed that way. Just a nightmare.

Different company. There’s a site called Gedmatch where you can upload your file and one of the feature you can choose to use is to allow your file be used to identify does or solve serious crimes. Nobody is doing this secretly.

People are getting very confused here. You can allow your anonymised data to be used for research. This is not new whatsoever and it’s done by consent.

What IS new is that a company (GSK) are about to start using this data. Data that’s publicly used already. This may help them to develop some new treatments.

Almost all research is done by companies. New advances in science cost money, they need funding. Some of this funding comes from charities, but the majority comes from companies that hope to benefit in some way.

I don’t think that’s the case at all. He drunk at some points and took drugs at some points but never ‘partied’. If you read his book it gives a bit more context.

Not what I’m saying. Partying suggests something very different to what he experienced. He’s also been sober for a long time. A relapse is possible but so are a hundred other reasons. Suggesting it was his own fault is quite grim.

Ooh, I have some of those! I love the crackle polish at the moment. I’ve got NMW, GITD and crackle on now.

I don’t think I’m skilled enough for the ghosts but I might give it a go.

I don’t really know what I am but I didn’t want to spend too much this year so I wanted to use a dress I own already and add some accesories to make it work, so I’ve got wings and a headpiece, I’ll add some make up to do something, I’m not excited about it but I think it’ll look OK in the end.

It depends if you can get it where you are, but Flora plant butter is really good, I’ve used it for cooking and just as a spread and seems to work well.

You’re so close to getting it. Yes, sport is intrinsically unfair, not everyone has a talent. So if you want to make it fair you can divide it up into classes. Male and female are not the only possible classes, it’s in fact a bit of a shit one. Other divisions are more fair.
