but I think it might be!
Currently using a FLSUN Super racer. It’s a delta style printer and fast as hell compared to the printers I had before. 400 hours on it currently....

I am a hobbyist, and my job will probably never require me to design and print anything for work....

Here is a Thingiverse link...
Please, use adequate ventilation (with a heat exchanger if you need to keep A/C in the room) if you’re going to be resin printing inside. I don’t want to see all of you guys get cancer from this hobby.
Hey there! As a 3D printer addict I do a lot of small parts in CAD to print and use around the house. Lately I’ve been exploring all sorts of CAD software since finding out there’s a more around than just Fusion360 and Onshape so I started exploring what’s out there and jotting down my impressions....
I am looking to buy a 3D printer for my son (and for myself too). We want to print, not tinker, so it should be something that gives great results right from the start....
I’m creating a board game that has custom 3d pieces. I’d like to test out my print before I send it to the game manufacturer and also want to make demo sets. They need a huge tooling fee before they’ll do samples. There are app. 10 designs and no bigger than 45mm....
Lately I’ve been using inland brand natural Pla. It prints so nice and I find that it adheres to the print bed really well. My go to filament brand used to be Amolen but some of these cheaper filaments have gotten so good in recent years.
Here’s a part of a cabinet in my wardrobe where my printer lives. It’s a bit noisy with all those hard surfaces so I am just about to put up some foam padding on all 5 sides....
Typically I would just buy whatever brand had the cheapest white color PLA (I like to paint my print) and quality wasn’t always top of mind. Now I have several prints that I want to do in all kids of different colors and quality matters. Given the new color and quality requirements, it no longer makes sense to get the...
Turned on retraction speed to 11 and i guess it wore down the filament at one part but then managed to push it after some 10 minutes of spaghetti 👌
I’ve wanted to get into 3d printing for a while now and have been checking out the prusa mk4 and the bambu lab x1....

Hi,...
Local-only octoprint is feeling better and better.
I actually have Marlin + Octoprint but found out recently that Klipper exist. I read everywhere that Klipper is better but I don’t really get why. I understand that Klipper use raspberry as powerfull calculator instead of the STM32 of the printer, but octoprint is used to send Gcode to Marlin too… So what’s the really...
so im a teen with not alot of money but i want to get into 3d printing, another community suggested the ender 3 original. it looks like a solid printer but who know im a noob after all. my budget is around 100$ or less. im looking into making mini figures and painting them or whatever nerdy thing i find. i know the budget is...
I’ve been using gyroid infil almost exclusively since I first tried it....
I see a lot of people claim they tune/calibrate their printer any time they use a new spool of filament. But does anyone actually do this? It feels like a waste of time when filament is so consistent, even between brands. I can understand doing it for specialty rolls, but for basic pla? Seems unnecessary
Hi everyone. I’m looking into my first 3D printer and would like a resin one for the great detail it can produce. I’m looking for companies that make respected machines that aren’t out of China. I know of Prusa but their resin printer is incredibly expensive for me and a beginner....
