Made a new friend, got diagnosis and treatment for ADHD, learned to use a sewing machine, got into American Girl dolls and doll photography, had some guests over at my house, got further into climate activism.
We call each other and catch up occasionally, text here and there, send Christmas and birthday gifts, meet up when I’m in town. My brother used to be my best friend when we were kiddos.
Post-pandemic, I started to value my privacy a little more, leading me to put up more of a wall of separation between my “public persona” and my real life. Not sure if this applies to others as well.

My psych is letting me try ADHD meds without getting neuropsych testing after all, which is great because that shit’s expensive. Wish me luck getting it filled with the shortage and everything. I really hope it helps! I’m tired of being overwhelmed all the time and unable to focus on what I want to focus on....
I should have gotten tested months ago already, but executive dysfunction and anxiety kept me from making the phone call. It’s soooo expensive because of the way my insurance works (haven’t met my deductible). Also, I have to abstain from cannabis and alcohol for thirty days....
