Say a simple (hours enjoyed playing)/(price of game) equation. How many hours (you enjoyed) per $ do you think is reasonable/expected? Or is there other criteria for you?...
Beat Saber. it was the Christmas time 2020, so during the pandemich, and I was living alone and had a lot of free time. Got myself a PSVR set. I maybe bough a game full price just once before. And Beat Saber cost me like 40 dollars. But it was so worth it. Played all of it, and even bought some DLC. An amazing game.
I love looking at retro gaming channels and this one caught my eye (I was looking for a Final Fantasy artbook review). He seems to have frequent updates, likes (J-) RPGs and the videos have this calm, relaxing quality (similar maybe to Noah Caldwell-Gervais) which seems to be quite rare on Youtube, where everything has to be...

I was very lucky to find an almost good-as-new PSP 2000 locally. I am very excited about it! It will need a new battery though and it only came with an USB charger. Would appreciate any tips pertaining chargers and batteries. But if you have any gaming related suggestions or general tips I’m open for that too :)
Since my vita can’t emulate ds games properly and I want to get my hands on different handhelds, I want to buy me a second hand model. Would you recommend the form factor of 2ds for bigger hands or are 2ds and 3ds clamshells are no sweat?
I remember playing Doom 3 on my pc at the time, and it was like 20 fps, maybe. I also remember the marketing on PC parts at the time having stickers like “Runs Doom 3” on them....
As the title says, I am looking to buy a DSi XL (yes exactly that model) to add to my chandheld collection. What would be the best place to find some reasonably priced ones?
I am an avid retro gaming fan. I mostly play JRPG games like Final Fantasy or Chrono Trigger but recently I’ve had very little time to enjoy big, complicated games. I am looking for recommendations for retro games that can be played over a longer peroid of time, but don’t require a big time investment (re-) learning the...
One of my close friends decided that she's no longer enjoying games so she offered to sell it to me for really cheap (100$). I love gaming but since I switched to Mac a few years ago my choices have been very limited. I've been mostly playing indie games that are available on Mac. So I've been thinking about her offer....
I am happily gaming with my refurbished PS4 I got for about 130 usd 2 years ago. I find the graphics still pretty decent and the gaming experience is top notch.
Does anyone here do their gaming on an SBC or hardware emulation machine? I’m considering trying to start an instance for these machines and am curious if there’s much desire
I have to admit every time I see one I really get the urge to buy one. But personally I prefer buying older systems and putting emulators on them. The PSP is a classic for instance.
