Yeah for that reason I just have my YouTube subscription download and go to my plex server so I don’t have to deal with ads or algorithms and we have a discord channel where we share interesting videos so I find a lot of my content that way. For reddit I just stopped going there after the exodus except when doing searches and I can’t find what I’m looking for I’ll add reddit to the search query to see the comments and hope there’s an answer there
Being able to get pinged for a new message in a group chat bit mute the consecutive messages from that chat until you check it.
I like to be part of multiple chats like for my game server if there is an issue I want to be alerted from my guardians. Usually the channel is quite for days and days until someone says something then it’s pings after pings as people reply while I’m commuting home and it interrupts my music

I got a razer kishi for my phone and prevented me from getting a steam deck. If I didn’t have a switch already the steam deck would have been awesome though
That was the first place I noticed it, thought it was really smart of them, someone would send me a meme or whatever and it would show their account at the top. Was impressed that they generate so many links, now they can see who knows who so easily
what gets me is the shear amount of paint there is, we drive about 30 miles and most of the way is like this with just little mounds of yellow dust and Im sure it all just washes away in the rain to places we dont want it to end up. Also apparently birds need to eat rocks and stuff to help break down food so they hopefully are just getting the little rocks and not the paint chunks
I use a bidet daily and sometimes theres still some poopy left after a few long sprays, I use toilet paper to dry off and do a check and then if its clean Im good to go, otherwise I hit it with some more sprays and check again. a few sheets of toilet paper is a lot better than no bidet but Im still not convinced a bidet by itself is good enough. at least here in the states bidets are simple bolt on squirters not a separate thing that might do a better job
It is a hand held device used to get water from the bucket, a tub, or a bigger tank to poor it on oneself. It could look like a bug mug or a pan, maybe without a handle.

Since high school I always felt hobbies keep you grounded and out of trouble and most people don’t have any it’s weird to me. I also had a realization about living life simpler after visiting Brazil,I know I didn’t get to see a true image because I was relaxed and on vacation but it felt everyone was much more cheerful and carefree
yeah I had a little taste of that when my friend gave me some mushrooms to try, everything was going great until it got to be too much and I wanted it out of me, then I couldnt so I figure the best thing to do is to just try and go to sleep. man it was the worst night of my life, tossing and turning and thinking way too much, I got to a point where I believed it was my last night alive, so I got my dogs and made them come to bed with me because I didnt want to die alone. thats when I finally went into like a trance and just realized that I had been quietly going through my midlife crisis I guess thinking about mortality and how death is going to happen even thought I never really cared about it before. the morning after i realized how much i enjoyed the little moments like waking up in the morning and cracking the window because it had some moisture knowing it was because of the warmth of our home and just making coffee and looking out the window. of course that feeling has faded a bit, I went back to some usual habits like playing video games instead of going out for walks like I said at the time but the idea is still there, just enjoying life’s basic things and trying to be outdoors more instead of building a better computer or what cool thing I could do with my phone
oh man what point did you get to? I put it off for a good while and just focused of figuring out outposts and was losing a bit of interest until I finally decided to level up some more by doing the main quest and it quickly ramped up after a certain point
Haha yeah I just did the console command to make it think I did it 10+ after the second run, luckily as a ng+ you get to skip a ton of stuff and really just need to get the artifacts which half of them don’t even have enemies so it doesn’t take too long
Dang alright well I’d recommend to keep going on the main story a bit longer because it gets a bit more interesting and I’d recommend the terrormorph quest for the vanguard as well if you wanted to get a bit more play time out of the game but I don’t think it will save the game for you haha
Oh man that’s what got my interest back haha, I was almost done collecting the artifacts and getting born when those new characters appeared and got me back into the story and even went through the story one more time after haha
yeah after I got a few powers and realized that using them kept making my companions abandon me I gave up on them and just stuck to getting the artifacts, even that I put off for a while until finally some new characters show up and it made it a lot more interesting for me. not that the game changes too much but the story just got more interesting to me and made me want to hurry up and finish it, also the vanguard quest where you help that lady you delivered supplies to
yeah I feel you, for me the game is a time killer when i have the spare time to play, I used to play fallout 4 before this so this just feels like a space version of that which I like, I can spend forever building my ship or an outpost and I wish I didnt spend so much time on that stuff on my first play through of the main quest since I ended up going into NG++, now that I did that I feel I can slow down and take my time again
yeah for me I think I prefer starfield over fallout 4 now after putting in a lot of hours at this point but its true the perks dont really change the way you play other than just unlocking some neat things on some of them they arent that game changing overall. the one thing I do like is the NG+ as opposed to starting a new character from scratch thought, I always wanted to be able to redo the game with my current character and just keep developing them as I went. its sort of like that movie with Jet Li " The One" meats The Expanse haha
I hope they clean up the outpost stuff and have maybe more missions that involve actually using your ship, and a big DLC as good as far harbour was
My house doesn’t currently have a doorbell of any form (100+ year old house, I guess no one ever installed one along the way), and lately we’ve been suffering a bit of antisocial behaviour so I’ve been looking into getting a smart doorbell....
I like my unifi doorbell but it recently died, I just ordered the POE new version so hope to get it installed this weekend and hope not having that old chime connected to it will keep it alive.
When someone rings the door bell I get a phone call from my doorbell so I can see who is there or just look at the notifications if there’s is movement in areas I choose or the AI detection if it detects a person in the yard.
I’m not sure if you can use the doorbell on its own, you’d need the app at least to set it up and either the dream machine or maybe host the unifi is on a machine yourself but at least it’s all self hosted
