Leider sieht das mein Hund anders. Da reicht schon, dass irgendwo eine Latte umfällt und sie gerät in totale Panik. Wenn da 10 Stalinorgeln parallel arbeiten und das zu einem Geräusch verschwimmt, ist das schon wieder egal.

Ich habe das Gefühl, dass die obere Zeile nicht der Definition aus dem Duden entspricht, oder irre ich?

Können alle Bürgerinnen und Bürger ihre Meinung frei äußern? Wird die Demonstrationsfreiheit gewährleistet? Diese Fragen stellt sich die Nichtregierungsorganisation Civicus seit sechs Jahren in einem Monitor zum weltweiten Zustand von Zivilrechten. Nun hat die Organisation Deutschland im jüngsten Monitor heruntergestuft.

Bisher war Deutschland in der Untersuchung der Lage in 198 Staaten als »offen« eingestuft worden – dem höchsten im Monitor genannten Wert. Jetzt gilt es als »eingeengt«. Grund dafür seien das Vorgehen gegen Klimaaktivisten der Letzten Generation und die Einschränkungen und Auflagen für propalästinensische Demonstrationen, erklärte die Organisation mit Sitz in Johannesburg in ihrem am Mittwoch vorgestellten Bericht.

Die Lemmy API erlaubt es prinzipiell die aufsummierten Punkten zu sehen. Manche Apps zeigen das auf dem Profil an; die offizielle Web-App hingegen zeigt die Punkte nicht an. Lange Zeit war die Zahl auch einfach unzuverlässig, was sich erst mit einem der letzten Updates geändert hat.

Edith: Mit dem nächsten Update fliegt das allerdings komplett raus.

Alright seems like I misinterpreted the following statement from your original comment.

What is an opinion is my suggestion to ban them. As you can see, the mod disagreed and didn’t do it. And that was it. That’s what an exchange of opinions looks like.

I still don’t think one should expose them for downvoting and given Lemmy’s design I’d consider this abuse of the access rights of an admin as most users do not expect their votes to be public. The downvoters may have their reason to downvote and it is up to them to (or not to) explain themselves.

Also, like I said, you could have communicated this with the community mod over a non-public medium.

Hopefully I explained it enough.

I get it but I wholeheartedly disagree with your point of view.

Is there a Spotify alternative that has no ads?

I pay for Spotify for 7 years or so now and i'm so sick of all the ads. After every update there seems to be an: oops, sorry, you have ads now. Podcasts are filled with ads. I was just listening to a podcast where they shoved in 3 ads mid-sentence. How long until musicians put ads in their songs. I'm just so sick of it.

USB-C? Das geht ja gar nicht. Es ist quasi ein ungeschriebenes Gesetz, dass solche Dinger mit Micro-USB oder irgendwelchen proprietären Anschlüssen kommen, für die es nach 6 Monaten keine Ersatzteile mehr gibt.

What OSS is in-between Google Sheets and a custom CRM or SQL db?

I run into a need for this type of software frequently but I don’t know what it’s called or if it exists. I am very adept at Google Sheets and it works great for pulling in data from other places, creating custom little dashboards and forms, etc but where it’s not particularly good is storing relational data for example...

Im Notfall bleibt ja noch die Möglichkeit extern zu hosten.

So wie es jetzt ist, ist es vermutlich eine Vorsichtsmaßnahme, damit hier nicht vorsätzlich der Speicher zugemüllt wird, da man, so weit ich weiß, nicht referenzierte Medien immer noch nicht automatischen aufräumen lassen kann.
