Yeah personally, I use Mac for the peace of mind, because generally, I don’t trust package managers anymore. Don’t get me wrong, Debians repository is extremely well maintained, and I use Debian as server OS, but I like the Mac as a daily driver for banking stuff, because I trust the Mac App Store (people have to pay, Apple checks every App and so on). And for the daily stuff I do with my Mac, I don’t need any special software from Homebrew.

Netter Sarkasmus Du übersiehst aber, dass was immer mehr verloren geht: Vernunft -> Rationalität-> Intelligenz. Die Fähigkeit ein bestimmtes Ziel mit den zur verfügbar stehenden Mitteln zu erreichen. Und leider scheint diese Fähigkeit, im Schatten der „Ideologie“ vieler Parteien, nicht sonderlich ausgeprägt zu sein. Für eine kurze Selbsteinschätzung der Sachlage, muss man sich nur die messbaren, empirischen Belege anderer Länder (in denen auch Menschen Autofahren!) ansehen.
Die einzige Prämisse welche noch haltbar wäre ist: Die Deutschen Autofahrer sind halt anders (und bessere vernünftigere Menschen, als in anderen Ländern), wobei wir wieder bei Ideologie wären.
