I don’t read any, but I think they pretty cool. People expressing themselves with the culture they consume is the way humanity have created culture for thousands of years until copyright laws where invented.
Try an older version, but i doubt that would work. Try to compile a new version with the code published, or open an issue alerting is not working on your android version.
It does. When GDPR was about to be placed in effect, the company I worked for in Brazil, send a communication to all our clients saying that they needed to communicate us if they were in Europe for us to process their claims (life insurance) with a third party European partner because the Brazilian office would not be able to comply with European regulations and the company would not even going to answer emails from clients located there. Eventually Brazil made their own data protection laws based on the European one and the company re opened contact with their clients located there.
There’s this genre of music in Brasil called funk (don’t confuse it with american “Kung-fu fighter” funk, is way different). And people do “mixes” where they slow down and add reverm to the songs, but now the own funk djs are releasing song that are slowed and revermed from the lets go, without releasing the original song. Idk what’s the idea behind that, im supposed to look for a speed-up non reverm mix now. Also, those slow down reverm version suck big time, except when are done by actual Djs in parties, there are pretty cool cause you can feel the bass making vibrations on your chest.
Brazillian funk cames from the 90s Miami bass, it had evolved a lot over time to what is now with a lot of different local variations. You can’t barely recognize the original funk for what is popular now.
Looking for phonk it’s dosen’t really sound close to what I call funk imo, but there was this other video whit “Brazilian phonk” that is what I call paulista’s funk, and what im listening more nowdays that I moved from Rio to São Paulo and I’m getting to know the local techno/funk scene. If you like phonk, listen to DJ K’s Panico no Submundo album, its basically phonk, but still have the base Brazilian funk rhythm.
I tough Brazilian and carioca funk were basically the same, but was called Carioca on Brazil and Brazilian outside of Brazil. I guess what im listening now is phonk and not funk anymore, even when they always wrote “funk” on the genre of the parties (checking out the app where I look for parties, there’s only two where they said phonk instead of funk, but they also said that play anime intros and k-pop and you can miss me with that lmao)
that’s one of the reasons i think Lenovo has won the laptop war, they include all operating systems and make it very easy to install any on your device, i love Ubuntu a lot, and chromeOS too
The company I work for buy them Dell with Ubuntu pre installed and then install the corporate windows enterprise version they already pay for. I asked them why and they told me that this way they don’t need to pay for windows twice.
Just curious what are the top 3 podcasts you listened to this year on whatever platform. Antennapod released a feature that summarized your year and well the amount of hours kinda surprised me in a good way, haha....
A word isn’t a product of letters, that would made mormon = nomorm, but an ordered set, where the subtract operation gives you the first set without any element also found on the second set (in set notation A-B = A-(A intersection B)
I used to work as an assistant editor for Fox Channel in Argentina many many years ago. And there was this trailer for a star trek movie that had the name on text of the crew on the trailer and the scriptwriter wrote “Zulu” instead of Sulu in the script (my knowledge about star trek is limited to the memes of this community) so I complied and wrote Zulu on the trailer. Nobody else notice and was aired like that. the next day it aired some guy I have never seen on my life entered my island with my producer and the screenwriter and the guy was furious, asking me why I wrote the name wrong and telling me that they had been receiving calls from all latinamerica saying thay we were fucking stupid and had to pull off the trailer from air. I show him the script as it came to me in the email and the screenwriter facepalmed in shame. They asked me to correct the name and re send the traileds asap. After thay I learned thay the guy was like the director of costumers relationship and the poor screenwriter was demoted and transferred to write the trailer of the cooking channel.
Mandy (2018): Slasher/LSD infused terror movie excellently acted by Cage (that scream at the bathroom is a delight), with a really interesting cinematography.
Color of out space (2019): I don’t remember a lot about this one, except that scene at the kitchen.
Pig (2021): seek and revenge thriller that would make you cry.
The unbearable weight of massive talent (2022): funny action movie, Pedro Pascal steal the spotlight, but Cage doesn’t get behind.
I prefer the first seasons that they didn’t take the show too seriously. The last ones (or last one?) Was way too dense, with episodes way too long that got be bored at half episode every time.
Mendel wanted to do his experiments with rats but the church didn’t gave him enough money and support so he had to use peas. Rats genetics are way more complex that peas and it would be hard for him to get to any meaningful results using them.
I remember learning about that in that video, if isn’t there then it could be in the podcast “History of philosophy without any gaps” but no idea in what episode.
They are not talking about the training process, to combat racial bias on the training process, they insert words on the prompt, like for example “racially ambiguous”. For some reason, this time the AI weighted the inserted promt too much that it made Homer from the Caribbean.
So, I learned in physics class at school in the UK that the value of acceleration due to gravity is a constant called g and that it was 9.81m/s^2. I knew that this value is not a true constant as it is affected by terrain and location. However I didn’t know that it can be so significantly different as to be 9.776 m/s^2 in...
There’s a couple of laws I think would make that illegal on Brazil. First, you have to accept legal tender, for example you cannot have a “credit card only” policy. Second, they are laws against “married sells”, where you can’t sell items on “groups” without the possibility of them for being bought individually (like you cannot sell pizza+soda, without selling the pizza or the soda individually). Based on those I guess you cannot not accept a 5, neither force the client to buy 5 if they only want 1.
