Hell, go to NYC and the public bathrooms by the Brooklyn bridge have like 12 languages. I’ve experienced so much of this prejudice ignorance ilk working and living abroad as an American; judging those who are prejudice with equal prejudice themselves, unaware of it and self-righteous, yet showing their true self to anyone who can see.

One of mine is when I finish wrapping my hair up tightly in the towel to dry after washing, I whack the towel where it’s tucked in, kind of like encouragement to stay tucked for the duration, kinda like a coach does when sending the kids onto the playing field.
Why is it that Americans refer to 24 hour time as military time? I understand that the military uses the 24hr format but I don’t understand why the general public would refer to it like that?...
I’ve no problem with using LibreOffice for most of my document needs, but i haven’t found a good substitute for microsoft’s OneNote yet. I mainly use it to plan my RPG games and it helps a lot. What alternatives are there for organizing notes on linux, with similar features to those that OneNote provides?
I’ve used both, honestly can’t justify the price of notesnook after using logseq. I’m in the process of switching over entirely to logseq.
I will say though that notesnook is a great alternative to Evernote and OneNote that is private and secure. I just don’t use its features enough to justify using it over logseq and syncthing.

“The Forager’s Harvest” is one of the best guidebooks out there for foraging. Those titles are insidiously close, and can easily trick people who aren’t paying enough attention.
