The oldest receipt I can locate was from 2009. I think that was my second. The first ssd being from before my son was born. He’s about to graduate high school. I remember when trim came out it was a big deal and I remember vaguely having issues with getting it to work on that first drive.
All that said, you’re probably right that 2002 was way too early of a guesstimate. Say 2006 or even 2010. What have people been doing all these years. Just waiting to boot up? There is a whole generation that should never have had to deal with hdd’s for anything but data hoarding.
I still deal with every company people here are listing. I even really like some of them despite the owners views etc. (if you make a good chicken sandwich and beat your wife, I’m still gonna eat that sandwich while hoping you go to jail).
I have not seen anyone mentioning Reddit yet though, and that kinda shocks me. I know it’s not the same as giving them a dollar but they’ve received no eyeballs, add revenue or obviously content from me since the exodus.
I have xxxl hands and still use fingertip. Never get tired. I search for small mice. Why would you want to move your whole arm to come towards you/ down on the screens?
How do palm gripper move the mouse down? They use their whole arm? I’ve been told I keep my sensitivity high, as I can cross my entire screen top to bottom and left to right without lifting my hand off the desk. Anything else seems much more tiring.

Thank you. I happened to be smelling something toast like at the same time I tried to read that and had to check the comments. Turns out it was a heater that hadn’t been on in a while.
UTC is superior. Everywhere sets their local schedule by what they need to like if the sun actually matters to them, and it gets rid of confusion. The real issue is that people have some idea that work should start at 8am or whatever in all areas. Or that 5 o’clock should be happy hour. That’s not helpful in any meaningful way.
I watched it recently for the first time, and I really don’t get why it’s so loved. IMDB rates it as the second-best movie of all time, but it seems far worse than that to me. I like most old movies and see their hype, but The Godfather didn’t do it for me. What am I missing?
In another thread, I read a user’s comment about how the lemmy experience has got progressively worse over the past few months, with a lot more trash content making it to their front page....
I believe all only shows the magazines or subs or whatever that have been synced to local. on a large instance, that will be plenty but in a small instance you’ll have to sign up and then everyone in the instance will see that sub in all.
If sideloading were legal, it would definitely solve the issue. Apple’s main objective is to maintain the security of its devices and the App Store. However, the company’s strict policies can be a hindrance to some users who want more control over their devices. Allowing sideloading would permit advanced users to install any applications they want, but it would also increase the risk of security breaches.
I mean, I didn’t watch it either, but If you are in a state that isn’t purple, maybe you should be registered as a Republican to be part of the primary to pick the best of the worst. My state only has primary by party.
Games in the 90’s were almost the equivalent of $100 today. They seemed better, though, and people seem to play them longer, but that’s all probably just rose-tinted glasses
Have you seen or read about the 15 Pro/Max being more fragile? Some commenters suggest that the more rigid titanium chassis makes the glass more susceptible to cracking....
sorry to stop the circlejerk, but this is dumb. an intelligent person could learn to repair the car more easily and have more insight than a moron. intelligence exists and we all experience it everyday. the wais-r is a relatively good test, but no there is never going to be a perfect way to measure intelligence. you can say intelligence is just what the test measures which is really pretty non biased, but that’s reducing things too much. y’all know morons and people that are crazy fucking smart. experience in different subjects is distributed, but the ability to gain experience quickly is the biggest difference.
no sir. it started with work and trying out bing cause of work with msft. then it expanded with their rewards for searches and paying for gamepass that way. then I got invited to their early release of the chatgpt equivalent integration. it’s just kind of grown.
Pseudo-monopolies are great at extinguishing imagination like that, and tbh Google search (as I understand its basic setup) was only as good as it was thanks to timing and few really good competitors.
Police investigation remains open. The photo of one of the minors included a fly; that is the logo of Clothoff, the application that is presumably being used to create the images, which promotes its services with the slogan: “Undress anybody with our free service!”

I was considering trying sync. thanks for the info. never gonna touch it now. there are too many good free browsers now to even bother. I’m still trying narrow down between the last three out of five different iOS ones I downloaded. they are all so good and Apollo like
whoa, whoa, slow down and respect the process. First, my family has to catch their diseases and mostly die off; they can then move into the basement. Eventually the housing squabbles will lead to them evicting my grandchildren by force to make room for their extended family.
as others have said, slower. Many recipes take advantage of the heat-holding properties of having cast iron, bricks, or pizza stones in there to hold on to the absorbed heat. Pizza, obviously, and roast beef are classics.
wasn’t this discredited last night? x removed the check when uaw changed it’s icon by default until they confirm they change per standard operating procedure.

I’ve been sitting here on my iPhone 8 waiting for like 8 months figuring the next would be usb c. Glad it worked out so I’m excited. Too bad it’s still a month out now with the shipping wait times on preorder.
