Das einzige, was die interessiert, ist, dass die Firmen, die sie vor sinnvoller und nötiger Regulation "schützen", genug rüberwachsen lassen, in Spenden und Pöstchen für später. Alles andere, inklusive der Wille und das Wohl des Wählers, geht denen so weit am A... vorbei, das kann man nicht mal mit dem Webb-Teleskop sehen.

I got permabanned as "antisemitic" for criticizing Israeli politics. That this is a quite common tool used by the Israeli government to shut down any criticism of their actions is nothing new. But to see this applied in a subreddit actually surprised me.

Well, it is a sound and sane decision by the insurance company. They can't afford offloading the hurricane risks of Florida on the rest of their clientele (or on their owners/shareholders) anymore.

With all the other companies withdrawing or being on a watch list for getting broke, insurance will go through the ceiling in that state.

I'm afraid this will lead to a load of uninsured property in the near future, and horrid cries for government help after the next hurricane swipes through.

493 genes. Wow. I wonder how for those genes have been analyzed to see what they actually do in detail. And by understanding this, the set can possibly reduced further.

One key thing here would be to remove the ability to synthesize a vital ingredient of the cell, and only provide it externally. This way, as soon as the organism leaves the pretri dish or vat that supplies this ingredient, it will be rendered harmless.

How can a school superintendent be so uneducated about history? He sounds as if he had never been in a real school. Maybe he was home "educated" or some shit.
