You know what we need? The government sans Judiciary branch to be run by unpaid people. The President? Yeah, he also has to work a normal 9 to 5. Congress? Same deal. Judiciary branch is paid because they have to deal with the absolutely shitty job of interpreting legalese and ruling on major things. And Law school is expensive as fuck.
Maybe if Congress had to work with the layperson and deal with their struggles we would have significantly less shitty laws passed that benefit the people at the top, and hurt everyone else. Because Congress wouldn’t be any different than a regular Joe.
Hi folks, not sure if ‘clean setup’ is the right expression, but anyway… I’ve been sporting an iPhone X for 6 years and tomorrow I get my new iPhone 15 Pro. I was thinking of setting it up clean in the sense of manually adding my apps, email data etc, and not doing a simple transfer from the old iPhone....
Don’t know if this makes sense, but I want a flip cover for my 15 Pro, without the need to put the phone into an ugly case. Just want the phone to attach to the flip cover by MagSafe. Anyone seen something like this ?
Just get a clear case then??? Like, IMO they should stop making different colors of phone and just sell colored cases. Every phone needs a case and screen protector in this day and age.
I’ve got a 30w charger and, TBH I think 20 is gonna be plenty. The faster you charge your phone, the worse your battery longevity in the long run will be.
Thread is a Smart Home protocol. It’s like Zigbee and Z-Wave but different. Hopefully it’s actually going to become the real winner in the smart home world along with Matter.
For Mobile sure. But your never going to convert a Console or PC gamer to Mobile.
My iPhone (when I get it) will basically just become an extension of my Xbox and PC when I want to do any major Gaming. But, I will still have a few time waster mobile games and now I’ll also have Monster Hunter Now, which is an actually engaging and fun POGO style game.
Starfield is a massive game with lots of systems and a massive amount of area to cover. I thought it would be nice to share useful information as a community. Wired Internet would help to fix the Cloud issue. I can reliably play XCloud games on PC, Series X, and Mobile on my WiFi 6 connection, and even on 5G with my phone, but YMMV.
The setting is actually really cool. New Atlantis is actually quite utopian looking. I haven’t gotten too deep into the game yet, only about 3 hours so far.
Seriously this is a lot of fun. It is absolutely a Bethesda game through and through. Not sure what people were expecting. I’m glad it’s not like No Man’s Sky because that game bored the shit out of me almost immediately....
It’s an engine limitation. The Engine that Bethesda holds onto with an iron fist is what hampers their games.
However, the opposite side of the coin is, that it makes them super easy to modify, so people can make their own additions. Because Starfield is using the same engine as Skyrim and Fallout 4.
Hi all, I’ve been thinking about setting things up so I can play Steam games on my TV but I’m a little confused on the setup. So here’s what I was planning:...
I’ve been seeing a lot of people hate and uninstall Brave. Why? It’s not like they’re tracking us or doing anything else shady. If so, what’s the privacy alternative?
So as title says I revived my beloved iPod, upgraded its storage and also modeled and printed some accessories for my iPod. I made a TPU case, a dock using the original cable and a storage box....
I wouldn’t recommend Aliexpress TBH. I highly recommend Elite Obsolete, he sells iPod parts new and old stock (Cases, Motherboards, iFlash Kits, etc.) he even sells fully made pods.

Well, I’d rather the day be sooner than later. Also, this is why you have… Backup servers and development environments. You don’t just flick the Switch randomly one day after code is made. You run months and months of simulated transactions on the new code until you get an adequate amount of bugs fixed.
There will come a time when these old COBOL machines will just straight die, and they can’t be assed to keep making new hardware for them. And the programmers will all die out too. And then your shit out of luck. I’d rather the last few remaining COBOL programmers help translate to some other long lasting language before they all kick the bucket and not after.
I got my first Oneplus phone earlier this year and the fast charging is such a nice convenience. I thought it'd just be a gimmick I wouldn't care about, but its something I take advantage of basically everyday....
Were you using the stock charger on the Fold 3? Stock chargers don’t even have the “Ultra Fast Charging” mode for Galaxy devices. I had to buy a uGreen charger to get that on my S20FE. And it went FAST. but… My USB Port on my S20FE is dying, even when it’s clean it’s flaky.
September can’t come faster so I can move to iPhone.
On September 1, 2023, the domains registry for .COM and .XYZ will implement universal price increases of up to 9% for .COM renewals, and up to 9% for .XYZ renewals, registrations, and transfers.
I can’t expect everyone to know who that is. Especially here where people tend to avoid Twitter which was their platform of choice to reveal to the wider internet. And Emily hasn’t been on any LTT videos since transitioning, so I don’t exactly know how people would get context without what I said.
I finally got my PC up and running and I am playing a hell of a lot of BattleBit Remastered. It’s what Battlefield 2042 SHOULD have been. It’s basically if Squad and Battlefield 4 had a Roblox Baby made by literally 2 developers.
Its absolutely the BEST shooter on the market right now, and it’s dirt cheap. Please, this isn’t an advertisement, but GO BUY IT NOW.
It is endlessly frustrating that companies have universally decided that they won’t let people say “no” to stuff, ever. There are no longer options to reject stupid-ass new “features”, only postponement until next time you open the app/website/program. They’ll continue pestering you for the rest of your life. I...
Sounds like Patents need to be changed then. Especially for variations of normal technology. Like, someone should not be able to patent a new variation of an OLED display. But, if you create a NEW product (E.x something that literally doesn’t exist yet that creates a new market) then you can patent that. And, patents should expire in 3 years, hard limitation.
