Hey everyone, I’m still pretty new to using my GrapheneOS phone and have been slowly transitioning to a more privacy oriented technology lineup than I previously did....
Since the lockdown, many companies allowed their employees to stay at home. Many of them even working while traveling. Are you one of them? And would it be something for you?
Of course. There are so many features of the modern web that i’d never give up (speed, security ,accessibility, api’s [that one’s ironic nowadays], dev tools, webgl,…).
Like you said, a great solution would be to combine those newer and older elements in order to create a great web for all. I think that the fediverse is already a great step into the right direction.
Wanted to ask you about this article, how do you remember the early days of the internet (I was sadly too young at that time). Do you wish it back? And do you think it can ever be like that again? I would be very interested

I see i can find a foss version on f-droid, and that’s something not a lot of social networks can have, i don’t really like all the crypto bullshit and ads testing they’ve been up to lately, but still looks better to me compared to what Reddit have done lately or what other platforms have done in these years…...
A lot of privacy guides suggest avoiding Telegram. I understand that in its default mode there’s no E2EE (and no E2EE for groups at all). If people I know don’t wanttko use Signal, isn’t Telegram the lesser evil given it’s nicer privacy policy (than other popular ones)?...
