Thanks I was kinda shocked when I saw the link it gave me lol. I have no intention of earning referral money or anything. I wasn’t even logged into Ali express when I copied the link.
This kind of stuff is just another reason that reinforces my decision to switch from Plex to Jellyfin. Plex is just adding way too much bloat and unnecessary features.
I believe they did but were of the understanding he’d go back to OpenAI if the board changed their mind (like what happened). It was basically his golden parachute.
Seems more like a missed opportunity to me. If they’d release a new enhanced version, I’d buy it again. It should be free but the game truly is a masterpiece.
I received a notification from TestFlight about Memmy, but I can’t recall exactly what it said. I assumed it said a new version is available so I installed it per that, but now that I’m looking in the TestFlight app, it’s showing the app expires in 22 days, so I don’t think it was a full new version. Maybe a revision? But to answer your question, I haven’t heard anything about a new code being needed.
I work in the IT field and in the last 5 months or so the amount of users getting into sticky situations (fake virus warnings, notification hijacking, etc) has skyrocketed. I kept thinking they were visiting shady sites, but finally I found out it’s the ads on google search results. It’s ridiculous how shady the ads are and I completely blame google. The notification feature in chrome is the stupidest thing ever with how easy it is for sites to take advantage of ignorant users.
I have seen many people in this community either talking about switching to Brave, or people who are actively using Brave. I would like to remind people that Brave browser (and by extension their search engine) is not privacy-centric whatsoever....
Good! Love the games. I just hope on the third one they actually finish developing the game before release.
Jedi Survivor just finally got finished after releasing 5 months ago. What I mean is they just released an update that makes performance mode run really well. Prior to this update, it ran horribly. So much so that despite buying on day one, I flat out refused to play it until it got fixed. And thank goodness it did because it’s a wonderful game and I’m really enjoying it.
Disagree somewhat. They need to put hall sensors in the controller so that precision is improved and drift is a thing of the past. I would also like better YBAX buttons as I find button presses arent registered 100% of the time. Also the vibration motors rattle so having a haptic type feature without spinning vibrators would be nice.
This holds true (for me) across various series controllers including the elite 2.
I was wondering, with all the different Lemmy clients and frontends, what/which out of these do people actually use? To answer this, I made a poll if anyone wants to fill it out, and I tried to put every client I could find.
I read it the same way. I thought maybe this whole google getting taken to court business for manipulating their way to top search engine scared Microsoft by nah…

There’s a performance mode. It’s not a solid 60 except during combat, then it’s solid 60. But even with the drops during exploration it’s better than 30 imo.
I bounced between the performance mode and the graphics mode and finally after 50 of playing I’m confident that I’m happiest with performance mode. The downgrade in graphics isn’t that bad IMO and I’m on a 55inch 4k tv that I don’t sit very far from. The smooth combat is just sooo much nicer for me. I do hope they can refine the perf mode with future updates though.
Hello! I’m looking for a foss weather app for android, so I went ahead to f-droid and tried a bunch of them, but didn’t find any that fully satisfies me: I want to be able to see the hourly forecast of any day of the week, not just the “global” forecast, and I want the weather service used not to require a credit card...
Has anyone heard anything about the series x enhanced update for fallout 4? It was mentioned a long ass time ago and there’s been radio silence since then.
Yep and the admin has actually assisted Lemmy.world’s admin to solve their issues before. That fact alone made me settle on lemm.ee - like you’re making a good decision going with this one.
At the start of this console generation, Microsoft made a surprising decision. Rather than split its consoles between disc and digital-only like Sony, it actually split them between power level. The Xbox Series S was cheaper, but lacked the horsepower of the more expensive Series X. It was meant to be a bridge between...
Geez. I wonder what the performance is like on the PS5 in split mode. It’ll obviously have some sort of performance hit. Maybe it’ll be a drop from 60 to 30fps? Have they confirmed if the main game will be 60?

I tried to like Apple Music but the compatibility Spotify has with all my various speakers around the house is in a whole other league compared to Apple Music. If all I had were apple speakers, I’d probably use it.
Hopefully it won’t but yeah… gonna wait for reviews before I purchase. The game plan is a day one purchase but I’m gonna leave a wee bit of buffer room.
It’s good that you’re wanting to cook for yourself, but why no produce? You really need to be able to cut up and onion and to be fair garlic you can get away with already diced jarred stuff, but whew love me my onions lol
Here’s a recipe that is budget centered. You could tweak it to your particular needs but cutting out the parts you can’t do > www.spendwithpennies.com/easy-meat-sauce/
It sort of does but it’s not really crispness you’re going for in a chicken fried steak (or chicken). It’s just downright hearty and rich and so dang good. Have you had it before?
What inconsequential or surprisingly good thing can I get from Aliexpress?
