I wouldn’t doubt if a percentage were. But is Cuba keeping itself isolated to where people have to defect despite no active war or combat? The US has probably closer to a million doctors from outside the US. The US relies on immigration to survive with slowing population growth and an aging population.

I am disagreeing with them about Cuban doctors. I think the Cuban embargo is an atrocity and a disgrace and that the US (as an American) has many doctors from different nations so why does the small number of Cuban doctors matter.

Again, the only implication you listened that’s true is number 4 and that’s because it’s not an implication, I actually said that.

The problem with “investing” is that the investors eventually want as much return as they can get.

It would be foolish to assume venture capitalists will not try to exploit a market monopoly.

I think this is more disingenuous if anything. The US has always relied on contracts with private industry to do much of anything. So to say the US should nationalize something is to say a public private partnership should be made. Even if you completely nationalize SpaceX their suppliers would still be needed and it would still be a partnership.

Might I also add that you saying “we rode to the moon” while also advocating for private ownership is particularly ironic.

Ok real talk but cheese is made of milk and milk is made from mutated sweat glands. So we take mutant sweat and let it spoil, sift it, and press it before exposing it to mold.

I don’t know why the mold is where we draw the line if we’re drawing them. I’d be wondering why you’re constantly sticking your arm in a cow vagina to keep it pregnant or with a calf so you can harvest the nutrition sweat and let it spoil.
