I’ll go first. Mine is that I can’t stand the Deadpool movies. They are self aware and self referential to an obnoxious degree. It’s like being continually reminded that I am in a movie. I swear the success of that movie has directly lead to every blockbuster having to have a joke every 30 seconds
I think they’re trying to say that googling your symptoms is free but going to the doctor is way too cost prohibitive and might result in your paying a ton of money just to hear that you should get more sleep or take some Advil.
I don’t think you should state this so definitively in a couple sentences, when philosophers whose job it is to figure this out are still pouring out dissertations on this question.

It’s worth noting that in the US there are ketamine therapy companies that send you oral ketamine in the mail. It costs about $120 per month and is accessible after a short zoom appointment.
Lol why can’t he just be like “as a straight dude, i don’t really want characters of my character’s sex coming into me.”? That’d be a perfectly fine justification for a mod. The equivalent would apply if somebody wanted it to be even gayer. Shouldn’t all this shit be preference anyway?
Mine are raspberries. But I wanna hear about all kinds or routine and exotic berries (like the superberries from Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia pyramid scheme)
This works for players, too. I know cause Big Chunky Bubbles from Comedy Bang Bang has been a valued sorcerer on our campaign for over a year. Soups and stews.
Capitalism is criticized a lot on here (especially by American users, it seems to me). Most of that seems well-founded, but I also have the feeling that most of these complaints are simply venting and not the first step to improvement....
Incentives for worker ownership of companies to move more major economic decisions into the hands of workers. Mandatory worker representation on boards of directors. Significant wealth and inheritance tax. A nationalized healthcare service. Public ownership of all utilities, including internet service. Bring back programs like the WPA and CCC to rebuild infrastructure. Entirely publicly funded elections. Overturn Taft-Hartley, overturn all “right to work” laws natonwide. I think all these things would help us transition to a more just, inclusive economy. That’s what democratic socialism is to me, and it’s not just social democracy.

I had never used Instagram reels until recently but also found it pretty damned addictive once I did try them. The ease of access and variety of content is pretty compelling. Of course, it’s information junk food. Very little of intellectual value comes with it, and it’s quite mentally passive, so it’s a good idea to limit how much time you spend on it.
2020 was… truly unique. It was so hard to stay away from doom scrolling, and I (and many others) were pretty disillusioned by the sad fact that so much of our country legitimately supported the Orange Man. I didn’t get a wink of sleep the night of the election because I genuinely considered it to be a make or break decision...

They don’t make cheddar and jack cheese in France? I know it’s not traditional there but surely somebody makes it, right? I’ve never been so I don’t know.
I wonder how many people haven’t gotten it because of inconvenient side effects. Every shot I’ve gotten completely knocks me out for a day. Sweats, fever, aches, basically can’t do anything but lay in bed all day the next day. Better than getting it, but I can’t spare a whole day to be sick just for a vaccine. Can’t afford to take a sick day.
Plenty of situations where this meme applies. In Seattle the West Seattle bridge was out for almost two years. People were routed underneath it where there were two lanes, one that routed into a forced left turn, and one that proceeded straight (where 80% of people wanted to go). Without fail, a huge number of people would “zipper merge” into the right (straight) lane and skip the huge line. Seattleites are such pushovers that they would always let these line cutters in. Which slowed down traffic for everybody: both the people trying to turn left (because they were stuck behind these jokers trying to force their way in) and everyone else who was patiently waiting their turn to go straight.
Seeing people on the Seattle subreddit try to justify this antisocial behavior with false notions of zipper merging was truly enraging.

Gotta have more users for text posts. I don’t know about you guys but if I see a text post with 10 comments I move on unless I have something good to say. I’m way more likely to get involved if 500 comments are already there. Does this make sense? Probably not, but it’s very intuitive.
It’s not much of a robot if it requires a person pumping air into it to move. That’s like saying a bike is a robot, as long as you’ve got someone pedaling.
