9715698,

It leaves a lot of employee personal data - that’s really shitty and damaging.

9715698,

It launches without Steam running. Steam is required to download it but otherwise it’s DRM free.

9715698,

I would have picked it up but in waiting for it to come to Steam

9715698, (edited )

I mistook the actor in the thumbnail for someone else. My mistake. As a fan of B99, still very sad to see.

Boost posted my comment to the wrong thread – currently wearing a Garmin Instinct 2 Solar, and find it a very comfortable watch to wear. Using the stock rubber strap that has just enough give as to not feel overly tight, even when right against my wrist.

Best: Baldur’s Gate 3, Hogwart’s Legacy

Worst: Forza Motorsport

Biggest Disappointment: Starfield

9715698,

AnyType is my current favourite. It’s new, but open source and has 1gb free sync. The encryption leaves something to be desired but for my need it’s great.

9715698,

And the game is no longer available for purchase on Steam

9715698,

With GTAV, Kate Upton also sued for her likeness being taken for one of the loading screens. I don’t recall how that one ended.

9715698,

I’m still surprised the Blade IP is 50 years old. Damn.

9715698,

I mean it’s no different than any other form of advertisement. Just do your own research.

9715698,

I saw a Steam review that was 'the day before I refunded ’

9715698,

TLoU2 is a linear experience made of sections with plenty of loading in between vs an open world.

9715698,

It’s a shame! I had this wishlisted since the announcement and would have happily grabbed it on release. No way now though.

9715698,

Also drink tea, or just mix some boiled water with your regular water. Drinking room temp water when your room is cold will make you feel cold.

9715698,

Keeping your expectations low is a smart move here.

9715698,

It was in a Bundle just before the launch of 2 as well

9715698,

On my OLED phone, both screens look great!

9715698,

I finished playing through the Diablo 4 story, which I enjoyed. I’ve never been interested in post-game content with AARPGs, but I’ll happily replay with another class or two and feel that I got my money’s worth.

Got the itch to replay Half Life also after watching the doc that came out for the anniversary, so I’m playing through that now.

9715698,

Me as well. I like to track my steps and exercise. Instinct 2 only needs charging I’ve a month. Absolutely love it.

9715698,

Do yourself a favour, skip the article and watch the documentary – it’s an hour long and well worth it if you’re even remotely interested in gaming.

9715698,

Games cost more and more and take longer and longer to make. They need to squeeze every penny out and a rerelease in the next generation is a great way to do that.

9715698,

It’s one of my favourite games of all time. I never tire of replaying it on PS4. Really hoping for a PC release though.

9715698,

It’s possible to buy repairable shoes. They are just not as trendy or cheap as the mass produced fast fashion counterparts.

9715698,

Yeah this type of ‘news’ is pointless. Regardless of which is better, there is just far more content for Skyrim. Of course it has more longevity.

9715698,

It’s pretty interesting seeing the playercount on Steam over time, especially since Steam only has an entry for “Call Of Duty,” where all the games function as DLC. –

MW2’s Steam release (no Warzone) - 263k peak players

Warzone’s Steam release - 491k peak players

MW3’s Steam release (including Warzone) - 190k peak players

9715698,

Still shows as 7 for me - maybe because I’m on Boost

9715698,

More annoying than painful in my opinion.

9715698,

I believe it’s Michael and not Trevor

9715698,

Digital Foundry has a video out praising the OLED deck (Richard called it the best screen on a portable gaming device):

youtu.be/Z1KLj06fn2s?si=3eJjkUu0-wE8SosM

As a deck owner, it’s very tempting! If the battery was rated higher, I’d probably bite. As amazing as an OLED would be, it’s not enough for me to upgrade already. Glad those who waited can take advantage though.

9715698,

Yeah I meant more of an upgrade. It’s mostly the lower end of the battery life specrtrum that I’m left wanting more currently, and going from 2hr to 2.5hr isn’t enticing enough for me right now. I also want to get a desktop in the next year or so, so I’ll put my money there for now.

Enjoy the new device when it comes! It’s clearly an amazing upgrade all-around.

9715698,

I would agree that the IGN bundle is stronger in terms of quality, but all the games are repeats from previous monthlies. The strength of the November Choice (and choice in general) is that they are always games that haven’t been previously bundled (IIRC).

9715698,

Me neither. I’ve been skipping a lot this year, which makes IGNs bundle really enticing for me as well : )

9715698,

It would depend on what you liked about the game – if it’s the destruction, then definitely consider Battlebit Remastered, or go back to the earlier BF games (BF:BC2 devs worked on The Finals IIRC). Both of those are larger scale than The Finals though.

9715698,

Is it cross play with consoles?

9715698,

Often but not always in Germany too

9715698,

At this point, it’s more truthful to say you can’t launch Modern Warfare 2 or 3 without first launching Warzone.

On Steam at least, in my library it’s just “Call of Duty”.

9715698,

Lots of countries have religion, but not many countries have guns as the leading cause of death among children and teens.

9715698,

Hey now, that extra bandwidth for downloading 4k content is really expensive, same goes for buying a third device to stream it on – HBO is really doing OP a favour here by saving them money

9715698,

My brother used to be on Pinkbike! Thanks for the nostalgia trip.

9715698, (edited )

Is the demo still available or was it just from Next Fest? I couldn’t find it on the store page.

Edit: The demo is nolonger available – The SteamDB page is here: steamdb.info/app/2357010/

Trying to force the install with steam://install/2357010/ returns a “No Licenses” failure.

Disappointed, but hope the game does well. It looks really interesting.

9715698,

Depending on when it expires, I would wait for Black Friday week - surely there will be a sale.

I used mine on Pixel Pods Pro and have no regrets.

9715698,

This is what I learned from the subreddit strikes.

9715698,

They said “is” and not “would be”, so I’m assuming they know there is a Linux release and are appreciative of it.

9715698,

I’ve been using Anytype for the past 6 months, and love the direction its going.

It doesn’t have the flexibility of plugins that Obsidian has, but it’s open source, so hopefully some day it will mature in that direction.

It also offers the option of 1GB cloud storage for free, which is plenty for text.

9715698,

I love upnote, but wish they didn’t change the icon.

9715698,

I don’t understand – wouldn’t it be better to have an extra hour of daylight in the evening through winter? For me, the most depressing thing about the clocks falling back is that the sun is setting an hour earlier, not that it’s rising an hour earlier.

9715698,

I picked it up last Christmas, and certainly got my money’s worth, as I can get easily get lost in these types of games for hours at a time, and I was hard up for an Animal Crossing-type experience.

Not regretting my purchase, but certainly disappointing to hear that they aren’t trying to get as many people into it as possible. Despite not regretting my purchase, it does feel like it was designed to be FTP.

9715698,

I personally haven’t clicked with the gameplay of their last few games, but damn you can’t not respect Remedy’s track record.

I can’t think of another multi-platform dev that captures the trifecta of tech-style-gameplay so reliably every time.

Hope they get the sales they deserve.
